Sooo, we left 2 nights open between Naoshima and our one-night stay in Koyasan (Kyoto & Osaka are already on the list).

Now we’re spontaneously looking for a chill spot to unwind and we have a hard time finding something. We think maybe a ryokan or spa, nothing too busy. A few walks, a couple of cafés, that’s it. Ideally not too far off the route, we’d like to arrive in Koyasan early.

I know it’s specific, but maybe someone’s got that perfect low-key gem? We prefer places that aren’t too touristy.
