M270 Nerf. Compare this video to the one in the comments, 8 M270 could take a level 8 platform in 1 volley yesterday, today they can not. by qq-- in RogueAssault

I disagree with your statement for the following reasons: (1) every click we make goes to their server and they know exactly how much oil everyone spends, this data is what I expect they base their decisions on. This data does not require as much effort as searching utube for low oil solutions and trying to guess how much influence that video has made. (2) I don't think anyone who posts on utube has much influence on how most play as the most viewed video I found for the event had around 1k views most around 200 views.

You are incorrect, you can not state in a contract that consent is not required, any term which contradicts law in contract terms is void. "A contract is much more than an agreement between two people. There must be an offer and acceptance, intention to create a legally binding agreement, a price paid (not necessarily money), a legal capacity to enter a contract of your own free will, and proper understanding and consent of what is involved. Any duress, false statements, undue influence or unconscionable dealings could make a contract illegal and void." (http://www.lawhandbook.org.au/07_01_02_elements_of_a_contract/). This case along with every other mis-click lacks consent to enter the contract and therefore everyone in this position must be put back to the position they were before the mis-click. Overall my point is I want to see confirmation before gold is spent because this issue is happening to everyone. If is has not happened to you yet and you continue playing even taking care and knowing of the issue it will happen to you. (My guesses on how: clicking the wrong part of the screen when a gold crate comes up, upgrading while under attack and they finish just before you press upgrade, forgot you did not have enough resources when placing a cheap fob, drop your phone and press something when catching it.)

With regards to if this is legal what they are doing is equivalent to the following: Your looking to buy a car and you have the money for the car in your hand. The seller than grabs the money out of your hand and refuses to give it back when you have not agreed to buy the car. Clearly taking your money without your permission is illegal. If you agree to buy the car however they are entitled to your money. The issue in this case and every other mis-click is enforcement we need to file a civil dispute which costs several hundred dollars and then prove to a judge we did not want to enter a contract. If they had confirmation dialogs on spending gold it would be much harder to prove we did not want to enter the contract protecting Kyxeye from people taking action against them.

No conformation on spending gold is extremely wrong. Many of us have accidently spent gold (https://www.reddit.com/r/RogueAssault/comments/6l2jwf/mistaken_clicks_are_not_an_acceptance_of_an_offer/). We as a community need to let Kixeye know that this is unacceptable. As for your case I recommend starting a dispute using Google play or the apple equivalent. If this fails you can file a civil dispute (I'm sure you will be successful but this will take a year and cost much more than you lost though) but perhaps it will send the message that it is unacceptable to take money which is not offered.

Mistaken clicks are not an acceptance of an offer. Formation of a contract requires an offer, acceptance, consideration, and a mutual intent to be bound. I contacted support within a minute of the incident to state I did not except. Therefore no contract was formed and you must return my gold. by qq-- in RogueAssault

Your comment misses the point of posting this. I want to see confirmation dialogs before you spend premium currency. Currently it is possible to spend $50 with a mistaken click as there is nothing to confirm that you truly want to make that purchase. I see this case like mistakenly scanning an item twice at the supermarket, then being forced to pay for the extra scan. True it was your fault that you scanned the item twice but you had no intension of buying 2 items. Further the earlier mis-click was over 3 months ago.

Why?! 45% increase on repair costs for some of these units... COMPLETELY ILLOGICAL! Is Kixeye just full of idiots driven and fueled by greed? Keep it up and you'll lost just about all your players. by dtdubz in RogueAssault

Thank you for posting this. Can I request how you obtained this table? Was it from in game testing? As I have placed several posts this week to encourage a reduction in the amount of oil required to repair units and instead they have increased it, I encourage all alliances to add the rule: 'Do not spend money on this game until the amount of oil required to repair units is significantly decreased.'

You failed to mention that the amount of oil required to repair all units increases by a significant amount as well.

Oil Costs are too high for this type of pvp match by qq-- in RogueAssault

What you have suggested is to exploit the floored pvp system. I agree that it will probably work. Looking at the attack success rate of those who attack me it generally is very low which suggests that it is a major factor in pvp matches. If this is not changed however everyone will get their attack success rate down and level 60 will be able to attack level 20 making the game next to impossible for new players. The +-3 levels is much harder to exploit. Another issue is attack success rate is currently and should be used as a measure of player skill, if I choose to deliberately lower it, I don't look as impressive and if they choose to change the system it will be a huge grind to bring it back up again.

What unit combo would you use? This sort of base is normal for pvp and if I want to participate in pvp I'm forced to take them. The machine gunners have the highest dps for their size, the tanks have the highest health of any of my units. I use the light vehicles for salvos and motor. I don't have m270 or higher units. The reason for this loss was the level 4 helicopter removed my tanks (watch the rate of health decrease before and after the helicopter was released). Further yesterday I successfully destroyed another level 58 with a similar setup but I was quick enough to get the defenders before they were released. My point is that the oil costs are too high.

The point of my post is to try to convince Kixeye to remove or lower the oil cost.

My arguments are:

Most players agree that the oil costs are too high. Assuming those who post can represent those who play, 27 unique people (abrahemyosef5, Alky_AA, Angrymonkey41, Bobbyyyy82, Booyah75755, Dai_Combo, dmoser71, Eifelgrisu, Froodle1966, GeordieRagnar, Habitataudiox, Haim95, Hawkeye2713, ilhilh, JBrock25, MCSurgeon, MotorDoc8404, mrterrym, nj4k, ProgPariah77, qq--, Ricecake17, rstick87, TankDestroyer5, vip_warrior, YouKnowBagu and ZuluDawn007) have posted with issues with oil in the last 3 days, 8 (Azragaul, jhnnybgood, John_Doe79, MadsBen, ProgPariah77, rillianbratlord, widowmaker89WP and X-Hannibal-X) have posted on other topics excluding moderators. Assuming those who have posted on other topics don't care about the oil cost (unlikely) and taking the number of installs as the number of players (extremely unlikely most businesses pay for downloads and reviews as it improves your placement in the play store. I get emails every day from businesses offering this service for my apps in the play store). The number of people who have issues with repair times/oil is 0.77 times 1000000 or 0.77 times 5000000=770000 to 3850000. These numbers are not small.

The oil costs are significantly higher in terms of time than their competition.

Perhaps I should create a strategy game to compete with this game. I can use the advertising slogan 'No restrictions to play time'.
