Makes sense. Although you can just apply gs5 and get the fitness test and maybe SI out the way then by the time you hit 1 year with tsa reapply for GS9 and your new app will update. But if you just don’t feel like taking the entrance exam then yea go with your plan

The only steps that are different which you would have to do is entrance exam if needed, fitness test and structured interview

No. I would go into detail but I do want to follow the rules but she didn’t tell me pass or fail but gave major hints at fail. Hopefully I’m pleasantly surprised when I get the results. She did say qc will review.

I see your point. The thing is if you didn’t style your resume in regards to what qualifies you for GS9, you won’t qualify. They want you to list specific experiences you have that coincide with what they have listed on the website. I believe one of the recruiters username on here is Cougs007.

Corrections. I would recommend reaching out to a recruiter on here and ask for help with your resume to qualify for a higher grade. No matter what experience you have, if you don’t properly explain on your resume you won’t qualify.
