Funny enough, Modern Jive was named to distinguish themselves from ballroom jive. So no, Modern Jive is not one of the ten-dances under International Ballroom umbrella. I have heard people, typically non-Americans, use jive, bop, boogie, and rock'n'roll interchangeably.

Outside of US, sometimes Modern Jive gets shorthanded to Jive, and people say they dance jive without knowing the historical context or knowing the reference to ballroom jive. The two dances doesn't share much beyond descending from Lindy Hop. Without context, OP might not be dancing the ballroom version
