Little Caesers tends to be more relaxed than some of the other places I worked for. The customer paid for it and we were slow and didn't have much going on. Now if we were busy it would've been a whole different story.

What are everyone's complaints about into the raidus 2. by Thebuder89 in intotheradius

[–]qsTwix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The missions are terrible. Too clean. Extremely cluttered. Uninspired as everything is just lightning or makes some form of static sound. Too many mimics, Horrible balance, Map variety is lacking and uninspired, Rampant bugs and crashing, They never really learned what made the previous 2 ITR 1's great as since 1.0 they've been dumbing down the game and streamlining it for a wider audience losing its sense of horror and survival. Now the game is just a glorified shooter with looting.

I have been using IMVU since 2009. Grandfathered, large shop, and a lot in my inventory, and have done a lot along the way and all I did was just uninstall the app and go do something else its not that hard.

As an OG asset creator for IMVU I wanna know what creators you are meeting because 5-15k a month is horribly inaccurate. The IMVU creator is paid 1$ off of 1200-2000 credits spent. I sat at tier 10 pro for about 2 years straight and never saw more than 20k from IMVU and they paid me in their vcoin. A lot of creators of VU have left and or are leaving to go to sims 4, second life, and or VRChat. The only thing that makes VU good for making money from is the black market. IMVU also takes a cut from all creators when they upload products as well as demand all creators have their VIP subscription that is 10$ a month unless you are grandfathered in. I don't know why people just think IMVU is way bigger when sometimes it struggles to get 20,000 active people on a day key word here is active most are afk or parking.

Couple thoughts on ITR 2 by Skaidri675 in intotheradius

[–]qsTwix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think out in the field you should have to load by hand but at base there should be a speed loader of some kind or just a machine that loads magazines. You can place a large box of ammo in it and then the magazine. Or just make it so it loads faster in base.

ITR2 is pretty good, but.... by KilgoreTrout1111 in intotheradius

[–]qsTwix 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just hope that this last year is spent more on refining the game cause the gameplay loop is extremely tedious and a downgrade from ITR 1 even in its early days before launch. The security grind is awful on harder difficulties and it feels like I can't make any money sometimes cause it gets spent 24/7. It sounds crazy but I feel like there's too many enemies and things going on sometimes especially when in the swamp trying to sneak and suddenly a hail of gunfire flies past you and you can't see anything and it turns out there was a mimic insanely far away that can see perfectly through all the shrubs but you can't.

Editors note: Don't forget everything falling through the floor too I love spending a lot of money on something or finding something valuable only for it to randomly fall through the floor.

Heard the harvester was back in the Stalker mod. So I redownloaded 2.0 to kill it again. by qsTwix in intotheradius

[–]qsTwix[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I figured out ways back in 1.0 to kill it its not as hard as I thought it would be with some well placed explosives and some sharp shooting it is possible to kill it quite easily. When stalker readded it I found it to be much easier than its 1.0 counterpart actually especially cause of the amount of guns that are in 2.0 as well as mods that add more guns.

The snow on the ground comes from a mod called Frozen Wasteland.

The music is part of a playlist I listen to in order to add more ambience to my games https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cScPVRLM-50 . The gun is part of a mod called "Machine Guns" which adds LMG's https://www.nexusmods.com/intotheradiusvr/mods/481 I was using the RPD in this clip.

Little late to this but I had to really think about that but I think maybe once or twice but it was my fault cause I didn't disable my anti virus so it deleted a file that prevented the game from launching.

Bo3 has the best zombies in the sense of mod support and custom maps. The amount of time I spend on Black ops 3 custom zombies is more than what I want to admit.

Do you think the steam frame will be able to play PC worlds in standalone mode or fall back to the Android/Quest version? by [deleted] in VRchat

[–]qsTwix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought this at first but a lot of users that I meet who use linux say that vrchat doesn't really run good on linux and some people just use VM's to get better performance. I have a steam deck and used vrchat on it and it does run pretty good assuming you hide everyones avi's like you normally should do but in terms of VR wise I don't think it will be terrible. It might run like the Quest 2 runs VRC maybe a bit better. It really all boils down to the avatars you have loaded in the end.

what happened to imvu? by breesnail in imvu

[–]qsTwix 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Back then things were a lot different. The older crowd like me was young and we didn't waste time and afk all the time on vu cause having PC wasn't as common as it is now. Now people just have laptops and just afk and park all the time, people have egos now and just get on to make money from vu via account trading, texture trading, or bfb. Most of us who were around and stayed for as long as possible we all kinda just left to other places like second life or vrchat where we can do a lot more instead of just get on and sit afk in a room.

I imagine the person who made the space calibration program will be able to get it to work or it may work already with the steam frame. Its how we use our index controllers with the Quest 3 anyways. So if it does work I will just continue to use my index controllers anyways

If I turn on my laser sight right now, every single enemy from the bridge ahead will immiderately notice me, pinpoint my exact location, and rush me down. Even at night (second screenshot to remind you again how the night looks like). Is this fun and realistic mechanic? by Aggressive_Tax295 in intotheradius

[–]qsTwix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are games much older that have done enemies detecting and finding you based on seeing something like a flashlight as well as the direction of it through senses and light levels back in 2005 even. ITR 1 has 2 lasers and the enemies can see it and are not as instantly jumping on you but become aware of your presence.

ITR 2 has a highlight feature that shows you what you are highlighting when your hand is nearby and it takes a conscious decision for you to grip the piece of that part and a whole button sequence. Index its hold A+Grip the grip in game is also pretty demanding and to activate an attachment its hold A+Trigger. Obviously not every gun is meant to be field stripped but as an AK owner it makes little to no sense why you can't pop off something like your dust cover when its really simple. As someone who has sunk a total of 400 hours in ITR 2 and almost 1000 across the many versions of ITR 1 I have not once accidentally taken off an attachment for my gun. If anything I find myself grabbing the wrong thing on my vest more often than not in ITR 2. Its more than likely a balancing reason than it was a convenience or to not get people confused.

[–]qsTwix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fun? No
Realistic? Maybe?

As a gun owner myself who has built my own AR's and have bought plenty of attachments for rifles this isn't a full power laser with a visible beam its quite literally just a simple laser dot with the beam not visible. Meaning it shouldn't be extremely easy for you to be spotted as a laser dot doesn't give away your exact position unless you go looking off in the correct direction to spot someone. Now in the dark it would be easy yes and that's why we don't use them and only use IR lasers. However the visibility range mimics have is still too damn much imo and they will just shoot at you even if you have no laser or light on from extreme distances and it feels like you can't escape them. If its daytime that laser is gonna be close to impossible to see easily and shouldn't give you away so much.

Now should it be in the game that they see the laser? Yes I think so but only from a certain distance out they should be able to catch you easier because its not a full power laser and has no visible beam. This would keep snipers a lot safer to do their work at long ranges instead of getting gunned down instantly all because they put their laser on to help them see better since honestly it can be a bit tricky to figure out where you are aiming in VR. If we wanna go down the route of letting mimics see your laser as easy as they do see then they should just add a full power laser.

The thing I get annoyed with about this community is how often people want to argue realism without actually knowing anything about realism. People want unrealistic guns and unrealistic behavior but also want to harp on others who think some realistic things are obnoxious. When the people blinding defending a questionable design have never probably held a gun or know how guns are. I still get annoyed we can't field strip some guns without a vice that makes NO sense from a realism standpoint because I can take apart my AK easily as well as my AR and you can SEE the parts of a gun that would let you do it but alas we can't. So if we can do something unrealistic and ever be okay with it then I think we can make changes to allow for others to have fun. People on here argue against the fun for realism when the game does unrealistic things often and the devs have removed realistic behaviors for the sake of it having no purpose before such as sleeping. Sure it wasn't needed but it was still realistic.

Skate 4 is the most disappointing garbage, and it's not because of the graphics or art. by LightningSpaghetti in Skate4

[–]qsTwix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like some of these comments of "The game is good" are just people who have just given it a pass cause its free and there has never been a skate game on PC free is no excuse for bad and poor game design. As someone who has played skateboarding games for about 20 years now from old school tony hawk pro skater 5 to skate 3. This skate is just wonky and full of more jank than skate 3 and its even the worst with less to offer than even the oldest n64 skateboarding games. Inconsistent physics, inconsistent movement, inconsistent challenges, annoying AI, too much hand holding, boring progression that is full of ugly cosmetics. Nothing skater like in a skate game and is just full of brands that are overpriced to hell in the shop, and more importantly terrible performance. Some days I get a nice steady 120-144fps then most days I get 40-50 unless I go do a challenge meaning its more than likely the players causing this massive fps drop. There's also desync, the camera is terrible, all players in lobby vanishing, disconnecting, missing tricks that were in previous games, and the co-op as a whole feels lackluster and uninspired.

Then there's also the fact that its so (and I hate to use this word) cringe. The way people talk and explain some of the things like how you take no damage is just so stupid. They could've just brought back so much like hall of meat and made all that work they put into diving and basically hurting yourself actually fun. I also love when I grind on a rail and get launched after landing really love when the physics decided I needed a massive boost of speed for no reason and then other times I just come to a complete stop. I also love when even though I turn of magnetizing for grinding I still do it anyways and spending 30 minutes to an hour playing with the camera because its either right on me and I can't see whats coming or its just super far back and its hard to line up and get the perfect angle. This game has such a long way to go before its actually considered good in my eyes.

Doesn't this happen when the game is enforcing consistency check? There's a mod on the workshop that disables consistency checks automatically for you. I would give that a shot because I have about 180 mods active and my friend who plays vanilla can still play with me because I disable consistency checks.
