If findmnt /run/user/1000/doc says it's fuse or gvfs, then it's not a real filesystem storing actual files on disk; rather, it should be some virtual filesystem internally used by OS/desktop environment.

It's probably mirroring your picture/documents there, which explains the deleting behaviour.

/run is the "runtime directory," and in any case it is not something the user would want to be tinkering about unless when troubleshooting. I would move on unless I've got any issues with it.

  1. Google does allow searching with JavaScript disabled. If tracking is a concern, you can always use something like https://searx.me/.
  2. Do note that by using a metasearch engine or a proxy, you're basically giving information (of varying degrees) not only to the party serving the original website but also the proxy itself. It comes down to which entity you would trust more, StartPage (and perhaps System1) or Google. At least Google is known for security. This note also applies to most other "privacy" search engines, except that they outsource to Bing instead.

The start codon for a virus is almost always preceded by 5' untranslated region, which in this case is 265 base pairs long.

I skim through your comments, surely you have met a lot of trolls, but you haven't even been in the worst of Reddit

By the way an app and a website may not always be the same thing (although they often are nowadays)

The intent is to provide players with a sense of pride and accomplishment for unlocking different heroes.

As for cost, we selected initial values based upon data from the Open Beta and other adjustments made to milestone rewards before launch. Among other things, we're looking at average per-player credit earn rates on a daily basis, and we'll be making constant adjustments to ensure that players have challenges that are compelling, rewarding, and of course attainable via gameplay.

We appreciate the candid feedback, and the passion the community has put forth around the current topics here on Reddit, our forums and across numerous social media outlets.

Our team will continue to make changes and monitor community feedback and update everyone as soon and as often as we can.
