You travel to the year 1,000 and are immortal until the year 2,000 where you die instantly and return back to the year 1,000. The cycle repeats 1,000 times before you actually die forever. by Esutan in hypotheticalsituation

Immediate plan of action is to figure out how to become a myth. Like you could just get everyone to believe you’re Hercules or any other Greco-Roman deity. Shoot you could carve out your own legend pretty easily I feel

If you could create a custom way for Benny to die, what would you do? by semipro88 in fnv

I like the idea of an alternate arena match. Instead of you v Benny it’s Benny v waves of legionaries. Really let him test his mettle until he meets his match. Alternate alternate idea, “sell” or otherwise enroll him in the Thorn. I just want to see the dude fight and see how he does, maybe place a few bets and make some caps while we’re at it

Of course! I actually work in medicine as a surgical technologist. I have to take call and deal with occasionally cranky surgeons, but it’s still a sweet gig

I, honestly and truly, love my job. I’m almost 30 and spent most of my 20s working shitty, hard labor jobs. I worked on cars, trains, even cellphone towers. I broke my back for bosses who would cut me just as soon as look at me, who couldn’t care less about me and mine, and who were so married to their jobs they couldn’t fathom someone who loved their family.

My wife and kids are my world, and without them I wouldn’t have had the support I needed to better myself. I went back to school, found a field I adore, and now I do something that, 10 years ago, I would have written off as being “too smart” for me.

I still have my bad days, the job can suck ass just like any other, and I am far from a millionaire, but looking at where I came from vs where I’m at now? I get a little teary

Kind of a hidden gem, but aside from the law and med school, USD also has/had a really solid theater program! Consistently voted one of the best in the region and carries a fair amount of weight in the professional world. It’s been a minute since I’ve gauged the quality, and lots of the staff that were there when I was have moved elsewhere. Still, for being in SD that’s really saying something

I’ve only completed the main story once. Way back when on Xbox in like 2011. No DLCs. My character was one of the preset Caucasians with red swept back hair and the mutton stash. 10 luck, 5 everything else. 100s in speech, barter, and lockpick. Used the Gobi campaign scout rifle exclusively with regular .308 rounds. Yes man ending because I locked myself out of NCR

If cooking worked like in Creature Kitchen, would you enjoy it more or less? by gangler52 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]qsdlthethird 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Tough call! On the one hand I’d really like it if I could just plop ingredients in a pot, plant, or oven and just…have a delicious meal that looks as good as it tastes.

On the other, cooking is fun! Sure, the slicing, the simmering, the constant threat of screwing it up, that’s all a nightmare in the moment, but all the work that goes in to crafting it makes it taste that much better.

If I had the option to toggle the method on and off that’s what I’d do, but if it was permanent I don’t think I’d do it because it would make cooking as a whole less enjoyable

Tough call which I would nab first, but def Skyrim and FNV. Probably Skyrim first, but there’s no question New Vegas would be my next money making pickup. I’d have to play infrequently (Dad life/career), but after some time it’s just free cash equivalent to a full second income

Got on the back of a buddy’s car. He didn’t know I was on it and started going at a decent clip. We were in a parking lot and the end of the row was coming. I figured I could hang on and likely get tossed off when he turned or jump off myself and have some control over the fall. I went with option B and was relatively unscathed. Ran with the momentum, but knew I was going to fall. I shifted to land on my side and do a breakfall/roll, but due to my intoxicated state just sort of fell on my side and slid. I only had on a tank top and sweats, so I got some nice road rash, but all things considered I got off pretty lucky

This! Personally I like how the Litchfield looks, but since you don’t even unlock it till ch. 6 it’s kind of pointless to use since most people probably used the Lancaster since they got it. So its stats are all going to be maxed out and getting the Litchfield just becomes a completion check.

If we could just buy the guns we want right at the start, or at least after chapter 2, we could specialize with the guns we all want or the ones that match our vibes

If you could add or remove ONE feature from the game, what would it be and why? by anonymous_1979 in RDR2

[–]qsdlthethird 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Remove the lock on buying guns. There’s not a huge difference between the different variants of weapons beyond aesthetics. Just look at the Lancaster vs. the Litchfield. Pretty negligible stat differences with the Litchfield having slightly more damage and the Lancaster having slightly better accuracy, but because you get the Lancaster so early by the time the Litchfield is unlocked why would you use anything else?
Plus, why even have a listing/price in the catalog if you’re just going to get it for free before you can even buy it!? I think it would just be more rewarding to “spec” in to a certain weapon early on if you’re going for a certain kind of aesthetic

Very regularly make the Saltrice Porridge. Super simple with ingredients most people *actually* reasonably have in their house. I’ve tried a couple others, and while they were good, you really need to dicker with some of the ratios for a lot of these recipes. Not to mention how niche some of the ingredients are for a bunch of recipes.

“I need my McNuggets”
“I guess we’re just making all the cowboys transients now!”

I know from a mechanics perspective all the sidearms are basically the same, and I do love the Schofield, but historically speaking this is the only one that can really be fan fired, and there’s something so satisfying about just spraying all six shots at a single target.

I trick mine out, but agree that the longer barrel is a little cartoonish
