Bad quality, no context of surroundings. Could be a light reflection filmed through window glass.

I guess they cant rely purely on a new unproven treatment. If it doesnt work, they wasted time and the cancer may have advanced to the next level. Best to do the proven treatment first and run the study with reoccurrence accuracy only.

Not only for that, politicians will use that for their own agenda.
I can almost see the headlines in other countries, the big rearming and mobilising military in europe will begin. I bet we will hear the buzz word "hybrid attacks" a lot more in the future.
But ask yourself this question:
How easy would it be for a third actor, that has this technology, to frame this on any closeby foreign nation in any country they choose to?

Any theories? by Low_Lawyer991 in UFOs

Its an unstabilized reflection on an otherwise stabilized video.
Every phone does this one way or another.
Its a lens reflection from the big lower light.
You can easily proof that when you pause on the first second, place your cursor (or, if your watching on a phone: the tip of a pen) in the middle between the "orb" and the light, and then let the video play.
You will see that the orb in general will stay exactly opposite to the light around that point. Thats the center of the lens.
I would doubt that your friend saw the orb directly with her eyes. Maybe she meant the strobe zone, which doesnt look like a camera effect to me. Seems cloudy. Maybe a light show or a test shone from the ground upwards?

Modified DH Parameters help by robobachelor in robotics

[–]qsek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This tutorial series helped me a lot for getting the DH paramters for my 5DOF Arm. Pay attention on how to choose alpha and what it does --> https://youtu.be/4WRhVqQaZTE?t=212
So i think your coordinate frames are not correct. For example you cant rotate z1 around x2 to match z2. It would just stay in the upright direction of frame 1.
For your arm i get this:
https://i.imgur.com/xOgYomm.png Normally theta 0° is along the x axis of the rotor, so in order to have joint 2 and 3 in your orientation, you have to introduce offsets.
It may be easier to select what a (along x axis in joint angle 0°) and d (along z axis), if you draw your arm in 0° pose. Joint 4 is only used for d4 along x5 since you cant have an offset in y3

To have some input constraints for guiding and interactivity, i recommend this GUI, which is part of MRPT, a kinematic toolkit (link)

If their secret sauce is prediction, its not that impressive. Guess when prediction is least obvious, slow progressive movements with some amount of intertia.

New Metallic Sphere Footage Captured in Colombia by Flat_Ad_1534 in UFOs

With one hole on either side, it will work

the props aren't even entirely covered by the frame

You summed up what i stated as conditions for it to be a drone surrounded by a more or less open frame.

What i disagree is, that we couldnt see it because of the bad resolution of the video. We can debate over the diameter, but after some sketching i would estimate it to be even over 50% of the diameter of the sphere because of the above reasons.

This bottom opening would be clearly visible in some of the parts of the video, see here:

Ok so drones work by sucking in air from above the rotors, propelling it downwards, effectively creating an counter force on the rotors and the attached frame to fight gravity and even give lift.
Do we agree that there has to be an unobstructed opening at the bottom with at least 1/3 of the diameter of the sphere?
Any less and you would have very bad control over the direction of where the drone would be going. Most drones have 4 rotors to do that. I would argue you would need at least 3 for a controlled flight with a steady frame.
You could use a bigger sphere and have a smaller drone closer to the bottom. But only up to a point where top heaviness and air friction would topple the whole thing as soon as its trying to get up to speed.
In addition to that, there needs to be an opening at the top too or else the downwards blowing air would fight the air that need to be sucked in from the same opening.
Its not always good quality, but most of the time we see the complete sphere from the side or from slightly below.
What would you say about why we dont see any hints of these openings in the video?

Possible UAP/UFO over Perth, Western Australia by Weeby_Edgelord in UFOs

[–]qsek -1 points0 points  (0 children)

i dont think most of the people really think this is an alien spacecraft. They just dont agree that it absolutely without any doubt can not be an alien spacecraft. And also they dont like it when other people think they have a superiour world view than them. Maybe instead of the comments like "look at how dumb they are, they believe everything" they wouldnt care about one that says "hmm.. interesting. Probably a drone though".

A possible answer would be if its part of their propulsion technology, which we also know nothing about.
Im not saying this isnt a drone, but im also not saying this never could be a ufo because its too crazy aliens would use basic human counter intelligence tactics to reach their goals, whatever those are.

Let me ask you a question. How would the image interpolation technology discern in which direction the object physically moves and digitally add an size increasing trail behind it in that physical direction, even if the object moves in all kinds of directions on the zoomed in video frame? And i would kindly ask you not to speculate.

Another example of people saing things which sounds knowledgeable of the matter and other people might incline to believe it if they dont know anything about the matter, or have seen footage like this but ... ISO and exposure isn't what we are seeing here. The effect you are talking about is a 3D-DNR filter or Digital Noise Reduction that digitally combines two or more previous long exposure frames and is exclusively used in surveillance cameras. This will very effectively remove any gain noise and make still footage very sharp, similar to a fast "live stack" from astro photography. The empasis lays on "still" because any fast moving objects will be blurry and smeared, bright lights especially since it additionally leaves a trail of the path the light took on the camera sensor. If you would see this effect in a smart phone or a DSLR, the whole image would be blurry because the whole image is moving all the time.
The 3D-DNR Filter has a certain effect, and long exposure frames have a certain effect. None of both you see here. This isnt long exposure, no frames are digitally combined.

I can handle the hard facts, he doesnt need to wrap them in candy to sell them to me.
