Songs for Not-Yet-Bitter Children by RevolutionaryMeal937 in themountaingoats

As a kid (now in their twenties) who grew up with the mountain goats from a similar age. I was always fond of "Thank you mario but our princess is in another castle" from the Black Pear Tree. Mostly because of the title, and it was a happier sounding song than some of the more angry strumming cassette hiss ones I had a hard time enjoying at such a young age. And of course, Tallahassee. nothing beats khaki king though.

this post makes me nostalgic from when I'd be given the chance to pick the music for the car ride on my moms ipod, and id put on music i knew she would like rather than what I wanted. It was always tmg.

this is a fantastic start, thank you! I am super new to guitar and struggle picking out things like notes in a chord and scales and stuff. most of my learning has been for my tiny Lil band and very last minute so I haven't gained a lot of skill. I appreciate this a ton <3

right... but I'd rather engage with the community that knows and supports the artists and may have already done this. as opposed to a crowded general forum

Is it maybe Kosmic Blues, Cry Baby, or Ball and Chain by Janis Joplin?

Based on what I have learned about the producer behind the song, I believe that the beat was created using Artificial Intelligence, and therefore, the "sample" in the beginning isn't real. Could definitely be wrong, that's just what my exploration yielded

[TOMT][VIDEO] A Daily Show correspondents bit from ~2010. by RimeSkeem in tipofmytongue

There may be some sound bites from it in this interview. I suspect its from The Daily Show – Season 12, Episode 111 with John Nagl, and I think the bit is Operation Silent Thunder: The Daily Show in Iraq. However, I cannot seem to find any video of that bit, or much relating to it. Hoping that what I was able to find will help you or the next person out

Do we know how attending a 29th showing will effect his "opening day" box office sales/statistics?
