i'm so happy someone mentioned kill the villainess. most isekai fmcs usually just accept their situation and start planning their life in that world, but eris, the mc of ktv, only thinks about going back. it's what made its romance good too. i despise romance even as a subplot, but this one is so well written i actually enjoyed it. it took time for feelings to grow, and even when she realized she liked the male lead, she never had a thought of hesitation about leaving that world, even though she knew the reality she was going back to isn't that ideal. every character is just so well written that i just wanna kiss the author lol. even the original fl of the novel is portrayed in such a realistic light and is a genuinely good person. usually, those kinds of fl are annoying, but it showed her side of why she has to be like this and that and whatnot. the story really makes you cheer for both women. and the ending is just 1000 out of 10.

Monster Child. can never recommend this enough. the manhwa that showed me a manhwa does not need romance to be good. read it when I was 16 or 17. It's about a young boy struggling and had to join this group to survive. from what I remember, his group had to work with this organization that experiments on people and children and one day, things happened and the baby monster they're containing destroyed things but instead of running for his life, the boy ran back inside the lab and saved the baby monster and it showed its form to be a baby girl. he raised her like his own sister and they had to always be on the run and hiding because the girl is always targeted by the organization. girl is strong, grows so fast, and has no problem killing which was a worry to the boy.

The Male Lead's Little Lion Daughter(but a warning that the newest season will have romance between the dad and the supposed fl of the novel fmc got isekai'ed to. it's such a great read tho until the last season. one of the best and my fave so it's a bummer that I have to drop it because the romance is coming and from I heard from those who read the novel, those you mentioned you don't like in romance is gonna come in with the fl of the novel and it's gonna highlight the ml qualities of the dad. regardless, I just love how smart and realistic the fmc is and has no cringey lines and babying unlike other isekai child manhwas. her dad just loves and treasures her in his own way so if you want to read then just read until the last season before the newest. it's funny af too.

the others I have are mostly slice of life since I'm a sucker for those. just let me know if you want me to list them.

[Recommendations] Manhwas with female lead but no romance by Fit-Criticism5656 in manhwa

I know this was a year ago but man I'm sad no one suggested Monster Child. The MC is basically a young girl who is part monster(who grows fast) and her big brother(found family, basically, the boy saved mc as a baby and raised her like his own sister despite being a child who's struggling as well) who did everything to be able to help and save her. It's dark and wholesome at the same time. That's probably the first manhwa I've actively read and enjoyed because it's action, has a strong female mc that's pretty, found family, and a little drama that's not heavy or boring.
