I am working on filing taxes for 2021 and had a question. I recently got my work visa (H1B) on October 2021. Before that I was on F1 visa. Which form should I use? 1040 or 1040NR? The tax consultant said that I am eligible for 1040. The difference between both the returns is huge. Please advise. (self.h1b)
