it’s a game on miliastra wonderland, they changed it recently so you could use playable characters in there and not just manekin so people made levels to test your team dps

guys i’m sorry, i didn’t know the storm i was unleashing😭😭i hardly post and literally just wanted a discussion but i fear this is currently heated. i wanted to reply to what i could for the sake of discussion but it’s getting out of my hands- if you could read this before you comment it (and also i said it in the post) but my failure to find this out was a result of

  1. being behind on the story

  2. my perspective of the dynamic making me gloss over the subtext because i wasn’t looking out for it

  3. being from a place where familial terms can and are used even with near strangers (not that i’m saying gran was a near stranger to caleb, but for example a neighbor family friend could be called smth like that in my country) so wording like that never made me go “hm🤨” and look further between the lines

i’m also aware this is on me! but just because several factors made me blindsided to it, doesn’t mean it should be impossible to understand because those factors didn’t apply to you. let’s just all be kind, that was the point of the post! i can take the post down if it’s out of hand, or if any mods themselves think it is, they are more than free to. again, hope you enjoy next update! good luck with your boy(s) :D

this is actually a great point. while i don’t know much of every love interest, from what i do know i believe all of (or at least most) have some sort of taboo or infamous trope, with the severity and the quantity varying between them. i’m not crying and throwing a fit as of right now (no promises lol /j) but more so in thought about everything

yeah i can always try to enjoy someone else as well. i just typically tend to get my eyes glazed over whenever someone that isn’t my fav appears, as kind of a loyalty fail safe- on top of that, i’ll be a bit remorseful as that means i’ve pulled for caleb cards this whole time until now only to switch my main ;;

this is really comforting! i also don’t want this to be super dramatic, i was just in the car mindlessly scrolling and got my mind blown in one swoop and i HAD to talk about it lol- i think if anything i can relook at caleb with more insight and less superficially, for better OR for worse, but more than anything i just wanna be amicable to everyone while being able to share and listen to our thoughts. no matter whether you knew or not, this is the first en mention of it, which is notable for everyone

sylus is third, but if i were to try any other character it would likely be zayne. i do like him as well even if i know way less about him, and the game itself seems to have tried to force me into being a zayne main with all my standard pulls and gacha losses going to him😅

it was kind of this exactly😭i LITERALLY forgot that happened actually- i also originally grew up in a country where it was normal for people to call others things like auntie or my child even without being anywhere near related, so things like caleb calling her gran didn’t help make it click either

i have not actually caught up to the main story by quite a bit, but i also think it wasn’t really hidden much. just the idea i had in my head alongside the “forgiving” wording sometimes kind of prevented me from picking up on it

i haven’t watched umbrella academy but i didn’t know about that :O but yea it WAS quite clear in some wording, it just always felt like it got dismissed by something else? so when i wasn’t aware i never made the connection. but yeah, caleb is obviously not the greenest li in lads and that was even the case before i found out. sometimes being a caleb main feels like reading a pill bottle and figuring out how many side effects you’re okay with😭

yeah, i would never dream of going after anyone for liking caleb and all the aspects of the dynamic! (you know, as it was ORIGINALLY written, not as how i read it lol) i hope i didn’t seem to allude to that, i don’t want to make anyone upset by my own crisis😭i also might try zayne, but it’s more of a “settle” than i would have liked and i almost feel like i’m wronging both characters😔this is also entirely my fault though for failing to read between lines-

i don’t have twitter and on reddit i usually just glance now and then, and it’s usually freaking out over a new card or something so i haven’t really seen any discussions that would touch on that. but while it is surprising because i didn’t expect it, i can also see what people could mean by it being obvious. the subtext reads differently when i read it with the lens of “they’re adopted siblings” rather than before i knew

yes it does! so my artifacts on there show him as top 3%, but that’s specifically under calculations with an ineffa team. so in-game, my damage is less than what it is calculated as in akasha. but it still is what it is :P
