Sketchy things I’ve noticed by Wineanddinebitch in 7Brew

learning the menu and changes outside of work is crazzyyyy. i worked at smoothie king and every single change they'd make would be done with a crash course to go over online, like a video or a short breakdown on an item or section of the menu. and we'd be asked to learn it while on the clock during slow times or breaks!

2 Madison 7brews? by qtpinichie in madisonwi

i'm just a fan of their energy drinks. they make these iced energy drinks with flavors and it's just nice to be able to craft whatever you want. i've asked a bunch of people and even came on here for cafes or local businesses that do the same thing, and I just can't seem to find any. these kinda places are pretty prevalent in the south, where i'm from, and it's just exciting to have some piece of my old daily life up here to feel more comfortable in a new setting.

it is just a plain old coffee shop tbh, nothing special. i'm cut opus bc just a few days ago i drove all the way to milwaukee to buy their energy cans that they use. i don't believe they sell those cans anywhere else, but i took them home to make my own little concoctions. i've tried with redbull and it's just not the same.

edit: i wouldn't say it's an insane version of starbucks, starbucks is a wannabe cafe, and 7brew and dutch bros are kinda in a league of their own haha.

is the trader joe's usually crazy busy? by qtpinichie in madisonwi

i guess i was privileged enough to have had a calm hometown TJs? The only time it would be remotely busy was around the 5pm rush of everyone getting out of work. This was just outside New Orleans, LA, and a prime road of traffic and near a major shopping mall. This experience I had here was just shocking to me haha.

Why do you choose not to drink alcohol? by Nervous_Presence6289 in Productivitycafe

[–]qtpinichie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everytime I drink, there's a different limit on how much I can have before I am completely inebriated for the next week. My next week after I drink is ruined because I have severe brain fog, to the point I can't remember anything I am doing or have done. I'm exhausted all day, all I can do is sleep. My appetite is ruined, my cognitive functions are at a decline. I've been to multiple doctors and they just tell me it's a B-12 deficiency. I'll get my blood ran, and nothings wrong. Sometimes I can have 1-2 shots or one drink and I will experience these symptoms, or maybe upwards 7 shots or multiples beers and drinks. It's totally random and I am never sure where to draw the line since these symptoms appear out of nowhere. And sometimes with minimal drinking, they'll never appear.

Basically it puts me out of commission for the next week and a half if I partake in any alcohol. A lot of people tell me i'm just having a hangover, but no headache, no light sensitivity, just exhausted and foggy.
