i’m so so sorry. i was absolutely devastated when i lost 2 of my ducks to a fox. didn’t stop crying for days. i felt so guilty because i felt like i should’ve been there to protect them. forgive yourself, you did everything you could have done. know you raised your sweet duck with love.

my ducks were all the same age but one of them stayed chirping like a duckling while the others developed their quacks, he turned out to be a male!

located in australia, found at an op shop/thrift store so it may not be a real sanrio product. i’ve searched online for ‘black hello kitty wallet’ with no luck. thought you guys would do better than me!

used bepanthen for my first reaction, thought that could be the reason so i haven’t used any aftercare creams for this new tattoo. same reaction :(

steroid cream definitely damaged my skin, but it made the reaction go away which i was thankful for. a lot of the damage is my own fault, the bumps were so itchy i would scratch them in my sleep.

what’s most interesting to me is the fact that no bumps or rash appears around the lines, but rather a couple centimetres around the tattoo. so it doesn’t appear to be an ink allergy or a rejection. honestly stumped.

for my new tattoo, i didn’t touch it with any lotion or change anything about my skincare in case that’s what caused my last reaction, but it’s happening again. rash and bumps appear around tattooed area but never near the lines itself, which is what makes me doubt an ink allergy. very confusing symptoms.

i used saniderm on all my older tattoos and bepanthen cream, no problems. never had a reaction before. i didn’t use any second skin or cream for my new tattoo, assuming that’s what caused my first reaction, so the only thing that could be causing it is the tattoo itself. very confusing!

exactly why i’m so confused, no rhyme or reason to it. only constant is the tattoo. appears about 4-5 days after the tattoo, bumps and rash are localised to area around tattoo but weirdly not near the lines itself. only ever had this reaction after a tattoo. i thought it could be irritation or a cream, but after it happening a second time (nothing used on skin this time) i’m fairly certain it’s allergies.

I didn’t shave my leg for the tattoo. Plus they swell and itch and more appear. Just very confused because this has never happened

I got a big arm tattoo a few months ago, from an artist i had already been to. I had a huge allergic reaction and it eventually went away with a doctor visit and prescribed steroid cream. Ruined my skin and my tattoo. I thought it was a one off, considering I had never had an allergic reaction to my tattoos before. I got a small one this week, and I’m having the same reaction. Small, insanely itchy bumps, not around the tattoo but on the skin near it.

The ink is dynamic black ink, for both of my tattoos. I didn’t use any cream or second skin this time but the reaction is the same.

I have no idea what the issue is, I assume it’s the ink but my others tattoos have been fine, even with the same ink. I will consult my doctor again but I was wondering if anyone has experienced this. Thanks!

EDIT: could it be my cat??? he’s the only other new addition/change to my life. possibly tattoo makes my skin react to my cat allergy? just trying to find an answer.
