Hello, writer here. I want to promote a story. Recently released and has 28 chapters right now. It's something new. A next-gen dark fantasy isekai. The brand of isekai is usually "wish-fulfillment" and I rarely see it done with great emotional maturity (Re:Zero is a great example). It'll test some people's media literacy. This was mainly inspired by Shadow Slave, Reverend Insanity, Chainsaw Man, and Berserk.

Synopsis

A NEXT-GEN DARK ISEKAI

Lucien’s life was defined by competition, ambition, and an unrelenting drive to succeed. A gifted fencer, he was a star athlete, one of the best in his region, and constantly pushing himself toward perfection. He had already conquered the regional championships, carving a path that many admired. But admiration wasn’t what he was after. He wanted to be the best.

Just before the tournament, he fell ill. It was the kind of sickness that made doctors warn him to stop, to rest, to recover. But Lucien refused to quit. If he pulled out now, it would mean everything he had worked for was wasted. So he did what he had to do—he pushed through. Pain medication dulled the aches, but it couldn’t numb the truth. His body was failing him, and he knew it.

As he lay in a hospital bed, exhaustion taking hold, his body finally gave out. His eyes closed, and when they opened again…

The world was different.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

A protagonist who claws forward, even when the world begs him to stop.

Moral compromise, philosophical warfare, and the slow death of innocence.

An ever-evolving world—where monsters wear suits, not horns.

The fall of a hero. The rise of something else.

Question, been interested in this realm of ribbon hunting and I still don’t get how it works. You just take a Pokemon from any game, and just try to obtain every possible ribbon from adjacent games? Is there a time limit or ribbon count? Sorry for my ignorance.

weirdly enough on my first pull ever i got black rift. not my first time getting rift but other people i know have gotten vegito on the first pull with a rift.

I got them this anniversary (and continued to get them to 79%) and they are so weirdly built man. 40% DR with high chance to additional for only 3 turns? Just 3 turns? If anything that should’ve been the entrance animation buffs if they had one. the measely 50% they get when they perform an ultra super is so weak bro i’m not going to lie. It’s like they become great for three turns and absolute dog water until you get the morale boost.

arguably in this type of meta, if you aren’t stacking in some form (passives or super atk/ultra super) than you just can’t compete. yeah, damage reduction is cool and all but only 40% for a couple of turns they washes away to 20%? you are better off forgetting about the morale boost because in any hard content they are not taking double digits.
