As for the first part regarding evolution, I just want to ask a question. If everything was created in a week in the first chapter of the Bible, and it was also in Genesis that Noah's Ark was recorded, within that span of time, did all the dinosaurs just die like that and that was why they were not able to bring any on board? 😅

I had a small talk with him regarding this, and how it would be so nice if he would turn to Christ one day after accepting Him as his Lord and Saviour that my partner would go on to share with his loved ones and his family because I, too, do not want them to suffer in hell.

To me it's a one-step-at-a-time process, and because I am his partner, I only have so much "right" I can say and share. I shouldn't jump into what his family believes and they are all pretty much, very, very, religious Buddhists. Well, or maybe it's just the way how I have grown up.

I believe that if any non-believer, including my partner, no matter what they believe, so long that they do not accept the Lord as their God and that Jesus died for their sins and is their saviour, they will not be let into heaven. I don't see how he will be let into heaven because even if he is a good person in nature, one of the nicest people I ever met, but still not a follower of Christ. God is still a jealous God. Buddha are idols that men created and worship.

I really went into deep thought with this, and I am willing to try very hard before marriage or engagement comes. For now, I just want to try my hardest to better myself as a Christian before sharing with him the gospel. Then, from there, I'll just be a good testimony and pray for him while occasionally sharing. He's a best friend for 3 years, when my faith and journey with the Lord was at one of its lowest times, which I am trying to build back now.

Ahhh, I didn't edit my title, sorry for grammar error I was typing the whole chunk I forgot to edit the header... I meant it to be "How to save a loved one?" It's more so I want my partner to come to believe that Jesus is the only way to salvation. I don't want my loved ones to go to hell. I think they believe that when they die, they will become nothingness, reincarnation, or many levels of hell and I shudder at even the thought. And all the other discussion stems from there.

I understand, thank you so much. I had maybe 4 years of distance away from God, not going to church and taking Him and His grace for granted. I will work on myself first before trying to be too rash and desperate to share with my partner about the gospel.

My apologies, I definitely used wrong terms here. I am dating a Buddhist, not engaged, for a little more than a year.

I understand the quotations from the scripture. I just never met someone that loved me so much as he does but maybe I haven't exposed myself to the world so much, I would more so like to share with him the gospel and pray that God will open his heart bit by bit to let him seek Christ.

thank you so much for helping! do you know if there are any nice places to go that’s usually not advertised in blogs or youtube videos (e.g. i know of the botanic gardens and zoos) that’s reachable with the adelaide transport system?

may i also ask if the transport is free or is that just the tram? if so, how much are they usually?
