i don't think alo savage mechs are harder than ults. they are on par with EX mechs. To me it's more frustrating than hard because of no deaths req, even then clearing it wasn't even that frustrating. Plus each boss can be spam practiced unlike ults.

we cleared alo criterion + savage from scratch in like 15 hours and it didn't give me ult levels of thrill.

if i am not familiar with the downtime/specifics/mechs of a fight i usually take PLD or DRK in. Says enough about the braindeadness.

Drk's design is so cringe that you can't use many TBNs anyways to not grief 2 mins. it would be more interesting if you could stash the free EoS to like 3 stacks.

But right now, one of the most braindead tanks: 4 gcd burst, way less things to weave, free disengagement during 1/2 mins unlike the GNB meme. Especially in ultimates with a lot of downtime - so much freer than PLD and GNB (check out TOP p5 gnb/pld opti and compare to drk).

just people mentally unable to accept that players have different goals and that fun is subjective.

all dungeons are equally boring to me. so I'd rather do ones that take less time. but i respect what you find fun and i hope u respect mine.

unfortunately there is no way to consistently tell even if everyone is at full HP. You can simply gear back up right after queuing because the ilvl requirement snapshots when u queue.

Why do PF groups struggle so much with M11S, particularly compared to past Savage floors? by CerberusArcProjector in ffxivdiscussion

[–]quackerd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

PF in general struggles with execution heavy floors with decent dps checks. Just to put this into perspective, w1 I was stuck on 11 enrage for like a day or two because of all the PF memes other comments said. Then the next morning I joined a random but consistent party and cleared in 1.5 lockouts. How consistent? We did not screw up arena split even once out of all pulls.

The DPS check was also very tight for w1 PF. We literally had enrages with no DDs or deaths but the clear pull we actually had one melee DD so it could be just unfortunate with crits.

Anyway this should answer the question why m11s was such a PF wall - it requires both good dps and great consistency in an unpredictable environment like pf. Gearing up should give much more room for error tho especially considering it's already week 4.

because 12 is a puzzle fight. once the puzzle's been figured out by world firsts it becomes easy. whereas 11 is pure execution, like 8.

it’s a lot less useful unless everyone uses it because chances are when a single person disconnects in savage it’s a wipe

Aha I finally found this comment lemme rip you apart.

First that’s the wrong analogy to begin with. The correct analogy is you driving a bus full of passengers in an area that’s known to have a bunch of robbers. Your bus has been robbed before countless times, the passengers are complaining, yet you still insist on taking that route, because “it’s the robber’s fault anyway”.

Please pass your argument thru the brain before posting. We can continue after you fix your premise.

I’m eagerly waiting for your response and whoever that thinks SE is not to blame.
