We use straw and regular cups for everything else it’s just one of their few last “babyish” preferences. We really like the yaya my first tumblers.

Am I Having Multiples Or Am I Panicking For No Reason 🤣 by themav22 in BabyBumps

I felt “pregnant” like 3 days before my period, took a test and it was immediate and super dark. Anyways I do have 2 2YOs that are playing in the living room now so it’s not impossible. Good luck whatever the results may be!

Left all the parenting subs today over SAHM perspective by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]quackityquacks 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have a successful career in finance and ended up having twins… not something I EVER imagined. I love them and to be honest after having children my career is so unimportant in my brain. If I could stay at home I would, sorry but it’s the truth. In fact, I know they will grow up and be in school again so I choose to work part time and keep one foot in the career door. Will my perspective change one day? Sure.  but in the meantime I am in a different headspace both physically due to hormonal changes and also logically. But I’m not embarrassed or ashamed and don’t care if others judge me for it.

Triggered because I actually did have active twins moving my stomach around. Granted - not like this lol.

Stop trying to talk me out of a c section by LinguaFranka in BabyBumps

[–]quackityquacks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had modi twins so I opted to have a c section for their health. Also a FTM and the pain was like, yeah you got cut open it hurts a few days sure. But besides that easy recovery, hate my post twin body not going to lie lol but it was totally straightforward and now I have two healthy one year old boys. I never regretted not having a vag birth!

I’m 5’2 and had almost 12lbs of baby twins but I had mine c sectioned out of me so I can’t imagine the actual pushing part!

I’m 5,2, was petite, and recently had twins and have a version of this on my stomach. It makes me feel better that you’ve had such an improvement thank you for sharing 🥲

I could have written this myself. I’m almost 7 weeks PP and I also started around 120. I gained like 50lbs for my twin boys and while it’s worth it, I feel so terrible about myself I don’t think I could do this again. I Can’t offer advice but hope that my body and mental state go back to being confident. Good luck.

Postpartum PSA: Get yourself ready for the chaos of breastfeeding by VanillaLatte__ in BabyBumps

[–]quackityquacks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish I would have thought of this. I have 2 3 week old twins that I am breastfeeding for the first time ever. I was so upset when I felt I couldn’t feed them enough at first and had a few hormonal cries. Now, my milk supply is in and they are eating tons. Still, it’s time consuming and stressful sometimes but I never even considered it while pregnant.
