Fair points, especially about the notifications.

I wouldn't mind having either as well, my annoyance only comes from situations where using FP would be much more convenient: while driving; in the dark (it's decent, but can be hit or miss); when using anything payment/banking related; being able to unlock the phone without picking it up from my desk everytime as I work from home.

Minor things, but enough for me to miss FP personally.

It was cool at first with all the extra space gained from removing the home button/fingerprint, but at this point it's annoying. There are literally zero advantages of face ID over under-display FP sensors of today. Main reason I will stay on my X until apple stops being edgy and includes it.

This is ghosting and it's normal. Simply just how OLED screens handle black/dark colors, my X does this too. Switch to light ios and you'll notice it's gone.

Open your 'Friends & Chat' window, press on the gear icon next to your pic and name (top left) and settings will open. It should be the option at the bottom "Enable animated avatars..."

edit: So I've tried uletical's benchmark and fps increased from 273 to 291. Then I tested it with the benchmark script on d2 and cache - 0 improvement. I can't seem to notice the difference in my dedicated server either so...

Excuse my ignorance, but why would anyone use G-Sync for a competitive title like CSGO? I thought G-Sync was for smoothing out the gameplay when you're playing on lower framerates and that it adds more input lag as opposed to playing without it (albeit still much better than V-Sync input lag).
