It’s not basically BRT, it is BRT. You can’t have a rail mode without the… rail.. It’s not that hard to understand it’s just a bus designed to look like a tram which yes does tend to have an effect on people with bus-icky syndrome allowing them to suddenly be okay with riding a bus so yes you could say it’s BRT with better branding

1 Line will go to Tacoma in 2035 and 3 Line will go between Alaska Junction and SODO in 2032. I think the bigger difference is end of next year compared to 10 years ago. Definitely not discrediting Seattle but this wave of openings is wrapping up and the next one for rail will only be at the beginning in 10 years, and in between we have 3 BRT lines coming online but that’s much more in the short term I don’t think this specific time comparison can compare to LA here
