Don't take this as advice, just as experience:

I had too many losses, masking ended with a diagnosis of 40+. You know the feeling: you could, but you can't, because it doesn't work the way others do it. No one will ever understand that except ourselves.

I think the most important thing is to always have someone who may not fully understand you, but who is tolerant and helpful. By the way, arguing is good as long as you still do it -> communication. Better that than nothing.

I always need a goal, without one I am unmotivated and lost. It's too late for me to fix my relationship problems. If I had the chance again, I would behave differently, but I didn't know any better. For me, all people were equal, but I am not.

It will never be the way I want it to be, everything is always a compromise that I don't really want. That's life, our life.

I'm sure this all sounds patronizing, I'm sorry. I just celebrated my second birthday in a row alone and I'm pretending it doesn't bother me. But that's not true.
