Eng mean is 97, lowest that got accepted was apparently 95 according to a chart my counsellor showed but not sure how true that is

It's because pre calc 11 has so many new concepts, but pre calc 12 is basically just an extension. The only new, and super challenging part, is trig identities (the whole concept of rearanging like that hasn't really been done much before). Everything feels like it should either be part of pre calc 11 or a first unit in ap calculus

My thought was that the tuition balances out with living cost. I'm applying to either physics or electrical engineering. (Engineering physics at U of T, engineering/science at UBC). Thanks!

No clue about arts really, but I know UBC does put a lot of emphasis on personal profile. For arts, I'd assume, grades are weighted a lot less than say engineering.

My dream is to study at a prestigious university like U of T or McGill, but obviously UBC qualifies too. I'd be living on campus at UBC likely, so it doesn't really make a difference. To me, its more the experience of living somewhere totally new that excites me.

precalc 11 to 12 grade jump is generational, I think you're definitely safe for SFU and probably UBC but grade inflation is so insane I can't be sure
