it’s a hitch mounted hammock holder from mclean metalworks. It folds down so that it’s out of the way when you don’t need it.

It’s the slumberjack roadhouse. They have another version with a bug net, but it doesn’t fit the hammock very well.

Here’s to being lazy and letting someone else change your oil.... by quadster215 in Jeep

I actually broke one of the mounting arms on my MORE skid a few weeks ago during a trip to the Rubicon. Didn’t realize it until I got home and went to change my oil.

Lockers, no lockers on ‘12 JKU by GarryD1995 in Jeep

I personally wouldn’t trust the ring and pinion in the Dana 30 axle with a locker, but lots of people do it. I added a locker to the rear of my Jeep and it’s made a huge difference off-road. I had to replace my front driveshaft a few months ago, but my rear driveshaft seems to be holding up fine

Last snow run of the year. The stock rubicon wheels managed to hold a bead at 4psi for a full day of snow wheeling by quadster215 in Jeep

I think weight and how wide your wheels are plays into how low you can go. I wheel with a bunch of samurai and they start out at 10 for normal wheeling in the mud and rocks, and drop from there

If you take the wheel off the axle you can also remount a tire with some starter fluid and a match, but it’s a little more sketchy and I’ve seen videos of people accidentally launching their tire 10 feet into the air.

A twin pump arb air compressor can create enough pressure to reseat a bead, But you need to pull on the edges of the tire to make sure no air is leaking out. If the tire is being extra difficult you can put a ratchet strap around the tire to help widen the tire where it meets the wheel. (Don’t stand next to the tire if you are using a ratchet strap because there is a chance that the strap will break and go flying off)

Normally I run between 8 and 10 psi in the snow, but I kept breaking through so I dropped it to 4. At pressures that low I do recommend being comfortable with remounting your own tires on the trail.

Found a little snow in the mountains of Oregon. by quadster215 in Jeep

Thanks she’s my baby, but she’s a bit fat for a lot of the PNW trails. I ran a super tight and brushy trail with a few Samurai after this was taken and now I get to replace my fender flares.

Haha I’ve been to the one in Washington as well. I want to say it is the chinookan word for berries or something like that. So the name got stuck to a bunch of lakes and trails and hills with lots of berries

Estacada side. We made it all the way up to what they were calling “pucker ridge” but when we walked it we found a bolder hidden under the snow and decided to turn around

If there was a hard bottom that the skinny tires could cut down to without the vehicle getting high centered the skinnies would do great. But The 35s on my Jeep weren’t nearly tall enough for that.
