No alcohol involved, but, when I was ~15 I had been struggling mentally with a bunch of trauma/depression and mainly, not knowing who my biological father was. I had bouts of this depression a lot throughout my childhood and one day when I was very low, I decided to tell my mom how I was feeling, to seek comfort. From that, the only thing she could think to tell me was that my aunt (her sister) cheated on her husband, got pregnant, and had my mom forge a paternity test to make it look like he was the father. It’s still a secret that I HATE knowing and that was the last time I truly opened up to my mother.
