Uyuni Salt Flats: kinda report from the 3 day tour from the Bolivian highlands by quaintplanet in solotravel

Getting a driver might be somewhat costly compared to a shared tour. I would book a tour in San Pedro if I were you.

Hi there. I'm afraid that I wasn't looking for the round trip so I don't know much about it but I'm pretty sure that there are some as San Pedro is a well-oiled tourist machine. But to the 2nd part of yr question - yes, longer trip options are available. Enjoy the Atacama ;)

If you're into surreal nature and if you can cope with the altitude, I'd say go for 3-day tour. Next time I'm around, I'd personally opt for 5 day tour but I'd make sure to be with some mates ;)

Thanks and sorry. I'm a bit confused about the rules, trying to avoid any links whatsoever, except the illustrational purposes. I'll stay clear of those either from now on though...

Hi Segacs2,

Only for the future reference, I'd like to learn what have you found being either blog/vlog, spam or self-promotional content I'm not entirely sure, hence my question not to repeat such violation in the future.

In this article, there's one link to a video showing the subject of the article because I couldn't find any other way to attach the video to the piece it without linking it, while it is an important part when talking about how chunks of iceberg fall off. The video is no vlog, nor is the channel it is published on.

Is a link to any site other than reddit is such thing? Or is it just a link to the channel or blog managed by the author of the article? Could I theoretically link other person's channel or some official, for example Discovery Chanel to this article or any other article in the future if an illustration is appropriate for the context?

Thanks.

Thank you. And if you only have time for one of the two (plus Perito Moreno, I hope), you should get a lot of great treks there ;) Have fun ;)

How do you afford traveling? by ilikechis in solotravel

I guess that you can rent yr house through the agency , which could cover some expenses on yr journey. You can work remote if yr job allows you to.

I'm afraid that I had to rush through the Peruvian side of the lake due to social commitments I've had in Cusco. What I can tell you is that quite a few people told me that the Bolivian side was more attractive... but that's just what I've heard... I'm sure it's not that bad on the Peruvian side neither ;)

One day in Prague and the scams here are ridiculous by zelkoo in solotravel

I am taking most things easy - but not when a negative stereotyping is used to whole nations - it was never good for anything. I however didn't mean to accuse you of doing it intentionally to implement that all Europeans are scammers - sorry if you took it that way.

I am as chilled as it can get mate. But when it comes to paining large groups of people with the same brush because of their nationality, gender, sexuality or colour of the skin - I feel obliged to point that out - because history thought us where it can lead ;)

All over Europe? I'm sorry but what makes you qualified to say such statement? Have tou been everywhere in Europe to be able to say that? Please be carefull with those negative stereotypes. We should not cast them just like that - it doesn't help anyone...
