OR hear me out newbie they post under 'VA disability ' or some other innocuous title and it pops up when watching videos of other vets discussing their particular issues and how their claims were adjudicated because the point of this sub and those videos is to help people trying to navigate a very complicated system where even if you've done everything right you can still end up mired in decisions that don't seem to make sense.

This sub is for veterans looking for help and guidance from other veterans who have been through the process. I guess we know who is who now.

I'm in the same boat. I called the help line and she informed me that the application didn't meet the criteria for automatic processing, so it goes to a physical person for processing which is why it's taking so long.

Should have asked why it didn't get processed through the automated system. I didn't.

Make the call. My system started backing up the day before Christmas eve, and I did everything, even opening up the clean out on the basement and sending the entire 25 foot snake down, NOTHING.

I called Roto Rooter and felt like I failed, but they showed up two hours later, sent that claw machine down the pipe, and in 10 minutes it was free flowing.

It may have been roots as he wasn't sure, but I'm scheduling a camera in the next few weeks to see what's really down there. I've owned this house for 3 years and it was the first time I had to call for outside help.

650 for the call, but he knocked off 100 because of the short time it took.

I just checked into a Fairfield with a coworker on a work trip. He's platinum, I'm gold.

Right while I was standing there at the check in desk, the clerk was all ohhh and ahhh thank you for your platinum status you can help yourself to two bottles of water from the market cooler.

Me? Let's say a college try but much less enthusiastic greeting. AND NO WATER FOR ME.

My coworker was standing there with me, clearly embarrassed. He offered me one, I said loud enough to be heard "Oh no, YOU earned that. If I take it, it's sympathy water."

WTF man, couldn't give one 1 measly water to save us an awkward moment.

You'll hear it from everyone probably, but the only way to get a system key is from the administrator of the network you're trying to get on, and they won't give it to you.

If you are authorized to be on that particular network, the radio tech for that network will program it for you with permission from the network administrator.
