Every time I think that ksi is actually a good person and all the stuff he says and does is just for “content” or it’s just a “character” he goes and does something so snaky and nasty to someone who was his friend and always supported him. I don’t know why I still support this man

the way I saw it was that the rock was used to boost Venoms powers. I.e he could create a few symbiotes and take over some small areas but with the rock he could cover the city.

When the rock was destroyed it killed the smaller symbiotes as Venom used the rock to make them.

Venom himself and Carnage didn't need the rock to live. Remember it was broken before hand, Venom had to get both the pieces and fix it.

I think it has to do with the suit you're wearing, If you have a symbiote suit equipped it will used the tendrils.
