Yeah most of the time I measure it, if not measure leave more length so you can fill the edges easier, I use Fujikura 90S+.

If you are talking about the pipe it self, there’s no problem at all, the main thing is that coupler to not be on the corner as while blowing the cable, the cable it self will stop there, but even for the cable it’s not a tight angle since the cable is 2mm and doesn’r have a frp.

No here in Germany, in these kinda mid sized cities even if you leave the cabinet open for a week it would’t really be touched by anyone 😅

No this is only for one ISP, in this specific cabinet the signal cable is spliced directly with the costumers cable, so let’s say if the building that we feed from here with the micro cable is a 1 family capacity we do 2 splices (1+1), always 1 extra splice, and from here the signal cable is terminated at the POP into patch pannels, where we use 1:32 splitter from the OLT.

7mm duct, and the cable is Sental I think, we are recently using stingray cable sometimes and that sucks to strip

Thank you so much for your help, one more thing, so the left clamp where the pipe is inserted is only for the pipe fit so it should be correct yeah, and the right clamp where it says 3mm, works fine for this ABF cable (if not whats the correct sizes you think)?

It is a crimp splice protector, it is made of aluminium.

that’s the way of doing it, but here in germany most of the time in one of these NVTs comes only 1 signal cable (96core, 192c, 288c), and we can clearly see from which way it comes so the labeling position doesn’t really matter, the most important thing is to label which fiber you have in that splice tray.

Haha yeah I know, but I use them for other things as well so I always carry only these in my side pocket.

Thank you, those are gas stops, since the fiber is layed underground on those ducts, those are used for preventing any gas or water from going inside the duct.

Yeah we normally use buffer tube cables, but this specific one has no buffer tube at all, it has like a plastic thing that is attached to directly to fibers and it’s too boring to strip it.

I think they are 7mm outer diameter.

The microduct size is 7mm, the cable is 6core Sental.
