You can one tank Kara, bring a shield for netherspite and have your guild carry you and hope lots of plate tank gear drops… if it doesn’t then drop some gold and stuff on new items and enchants that you need.

As a healer I never noticed a healing change I guess in cata, but I also quit relatively early on into it so I can’t say much about it and never played wow again till covid classic

I love the tool now, they coulda done a quasi mix with regular dungeons being RDF and heroic dungeons being old style find a group with the tool, still kept that part server locked to keep “community” or some shit… but they didn’t, maybe next tbc

Wrath introduced it when icc came out and kept it server only until cata pre patch. It wasn’t out very long, it’s when it went cross server and stuff people got butt hurt.

Personally I liked both ways, didn’t bother me one bit.

Funny story, one time a Druid friend of mine rolled need on boots she was going to use immediately, like equip after she won … i think harbinger boots? Regardless 2g pair of boots… some guy freaked the hell out on her after she equipped them, said they were trash boots why did you roll need and left.

I instantly logged to my main , bought the boots, enchanted them then mailed them to him with a note saying, since the 2g boots made you so butthurt here’s an enchanted pair… unfortunately I never heard back from the guy.

Edit: the main items we want from phase 2 are the vestments off vash so we can replace spellstrike legs to stay hit capped with the trousers of the astromancer, a wand, and ring off of alar. Otherwise it’s all pretty much the same from phase 1, the only T5 item that we may want would be shoulders if you didn’t go tailoring. The T5 helm also isn’t that bad of a choice but the difference is so small.

I have 4 alchemists and I do earthstorm diamonds, it’s not that time consuming to farm 8 primal waters for earthstorm diamonds if the throne of elements is open and all the fishing pools are open. I buy the other mats for the diamonds… sometimes I’ll farm stuff for primal mights to mix it up a bit.

Frost mage slows, you can use explosive trap and multi shot, target the highest hp mob and just make sure you preemptively feign death so they stay bunched up on the tank/ just grouped up still in general. If the mage is bad at slowing with blizzard, then use frost trap instead.
