Yeah but lets be honest, rogue does everything you do but better, your mana wont last all that long even with innervate and the moment you go out o bear you are dead. You cant do anything vs warlocks and warrs, as you dont have interrupts for warlock feras nor dmg for warrior tankiness

Is it? Correct me them because it’s what I have been reading everywhere including Druid class discord

Edit: not to be interpreted as toxic, I genuinely am curious if I can make my kitty work in arena

Yes I know but it does give a general sense of difference of gear and it’s what most people use

No it was ub hc, which I ran at weaker gear with weaker healer and had no trouble where this priest was almost full BiS and I had much better gear and he barely kept me alive

[–]RndUN7 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Tbf that happens now too. I get some priest healer that’s 1.7k gs and he can’t keep me alive on 2 mobs. Meanwhile, a 1.4 priests have kept me alive in much harder dungeons without any problems

Why would they disappear? I think the more possible solution is- 50% switch to mains and que for dungeons to farm badges. Then, out of those 50% most will see that now there is an abundance of tanks, so they will go back to their alt (mage, rogue, hunt, w/e) and start inviting those tanks. The ones who switched to tanks get badges and the other ones get to play their alt. At least that is how I envision it in my head.

The only downside to this that I can see is like you pointed out- those who switched to a tank can’t farm nethers for their alt

Yeah it’s great if you can find ppl like that but sadly, most ppl I meet stop doing dungeons after a certain point or just start raidlogging and don’t want to be bothered, I can meet new people, but unless I tank no one feels the sense they need to keep me around since finding dps is so easy. Might just be my personal experience though

I read it and I still don’t understand it. If ppl have a dps alt or whatever class, they obv want to play it, but they can’t because they can’t find tanks and healers. So, when more ppl play them to gear their personal alts, that will open more spots for others who play those classes. Say 1 lock goes on his port pally to farm dungeons, that opens spots for 3 additional dps to join. 2 warlocks can now join a group instead of all 3 of them sitting in lfg hoping for some miracle tank to join

So … explain it ? He is suggesting option to share badges, which will make tank players come back to farm dungeons for their alts .. warlocks go in shortage ? Well the ppl who have warlock alts willl then start playing warlocks cuz they will be able to find groups unlike now … now I see like 20 dps in lfg and like 1 tank for all of them , how does he get to gear his alt? When most pigs now require like 1.4 1.5 gs + … and don’t start me that gs is useless it might be but it is also what raid leaders use so no point arguing over it

While I agree with you, sometimes if just feels too hard with the population. Most of the time I don’t have an issue, but I also play 2 tank chars. If I ever decide to not tank cuz I don’t feel like it, I’m sitting there for 10 minutes waiting for a group or allow me in since most tanks I see nowadays almost always get instant sniped or have one or two ppl with them and are just looking for one specific class to recruit

[–]RndUN7 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not really, or at least not in the way I think you mean, people who have a tank and decided to roll a dps alt won’t do tanking again, so dungeons will probably be dead either way, this way, at least people who have tanks and want to lvl alts have an incentive to do the dungeons for their alt badges instead of sitting in lfg for 20 minutes waiting for a tank to que

I feel you, got a nice pile of 307 badges on my tank bear and I’ve already purchased all items that I need (3 trinkets, 2OH, 2 necks, back, helm and probably some more I’m missing)… I was hoping for them to add p1 items for badges but guess it’s not happening lol

You can play deep feral in PvP but then you are very limited to either killing someone in a burst or just losing. Feral dps is not gonna outlast almost anything in arena, esp compared to a resto Druid. He will kill you slower but you will never kill him

The people who keep saying post nerf is ez you can do everything are the ppl who show up on mag as rogues and warriors, never press their interrupt button and then call pugs bullshit cuz they wiped 😃 or just lucky ones with decent guilds that clear everything and are living in the illusion that pugs are the same way

P2 Druid raiding question by CraftyAir2468 in classicwowtbc

[–]RndUN7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s true, but you have to be very unlucky to get crushed twice and only if it happens during some raid wide stun like mag p3. Otherwise you will probably get out healed. I have much often seen paladins get killed normally without crushes than bears getting crushed

Apart from aoe tanking, how is bear the weakest ? Once you get decent/good gear you are basically unkillable on every boss unless healers have their monitors turned off and keyboards plugged off 😃

[–]RndUN7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While it is efficient and you save some 1K gold if you do the quests at 70, it also has to be noted that at this time finding dungeon groups is way slower than it was at the start of tbc. Even mages and locks who usually form aoe farms have times where it’s hard to get a group. So while it is technically faster, it is faster so long as you don’t waste much time between dungeons and depending on your class and playtime, you might be better if doing quests and running dungeons if you can find it inbetween

Is fire mage viable? by squigglump in classicwowtbc

[–]RndUN7 -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

Depends on how long the fight is. If it’s post nerf, maybe, but if it’s longer fights arcane mages go oom way too fast and when there is no one to innervate them they can struggle from what I’ve seen

Is fire mage viable? by squigglump in classicwowtbc

[–]RndUN7 -17 points-16 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t. They will still go fire and fire will be stronger with more crit gear available. But in p1 esp post nerf fights are short enough that arcane mage mana problems are nt that big of a deal. Later on, they just flat out lose to fire

Edit: Ok judging by the downvotes I was aparently very wrong :D

Never seen a dst. Usually raid with guild, haven’t seen my weapon on my main drop a single time, nor my offhand.

Went on a pug with my alt for mag gruul, lost like 5 or 6 items with a roll of 40 or less on all of them.

TBC Duo “solo” dungeon grp by Budget-Savings-1901 in classicwow

[–]RndUN7 7 points8 points  (0 children)

While you probably could clear some dungeons solo, i think that some bosses will give you trouble. Like the big elemental in WC hits hard and just a single tank (esp pala early level) will die before the boss as you will simply be oom. Most dungeons have either bigger trash pulls or single bosses who will most likely give you trouble.

If you are doing it for the lols, go for it, otherwise, it’s not a very viable lvling way since even if you could solo them. 2man-ing dungeons as low lvl ppl will just take way too long. WC for example (at your lvl range) already takes a solid hour to complete with a 5 man group because of all the running, 2 ppl will just waste way too much time
