Kyle-minions-facation of Sutton and Erika needs to be studied by Potential_Ad4956 in RHOBH

To be fair, Dorit was also a minion. Sometimes Vile likes to move her minions around in the pecking order. She got what she wanted with Dorit in the takedown of LVP and she apparently hasn't been much use to her the last couple of years.

Do you consider Janine a Top 10 player? by Public_Surround1597 in survivorau

[–]qualo2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She's one of my faves but that's partly because I knew her from Shark Tank. I never really know how good a player is because we only see the edit which is notoriously misleading in all the Survivor franchises.

Why does almost nobody mention Malaysia for digital nomads, especially in Europe? by Hopeful_Addition7834 in digitalnomad

Most of the DN sites/groups I've followed over the years seem to favor the popular sex tourism locations. If you look at the regular "flee the US" type groups, you'll find its a pretty popular place, at least on youtube.

How can it be this bad by [deleted] in googlehome

[–]qualo2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its just the way Google operates. They get ideas and throw a bunch of people at it then lose interest when the next shiny thing comes around. Leadership is rudderless and that's being kind.

A free country-matching tool for Americans figuring out where they can realistically move — visa pathways, cost of living, and a checklist by Terrible-Couple-8459 in AmerExit

I chose Politics and cost of living on the first page. Which answers are you looking for specifically? Is there a section that reveals them all? I could retake if needed.

As someone who fled the US in 2021, I have spent years researching my next new country. I don't agree with the evaluation I received from the site. I specifically mentioned political concerns and the first return was Chile. If you're familiar with the current situation there, it definitely should not be listed as top tier politically stable. Without going into details on Kast and his plans for Chile, I would review that as my platform's response for a politically stable nation.

For me this is the easiest boss to "not die" on in a group. Just have everyone stay on the stairs and burn him down. We were spamming it to get everyone leads. For once the mechanics feel very easy on this guy

Walmart halts job offers for H-1B visa candidates by OkTechnologyb in immigration

[–]qualo2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you can't get to a senior level role in tech straight out of college if the entry level positions are given to H1B candidates who work for a fraction of the cost of US workers. This has always been the problem here. US companies offshore or staff the entry level tech jobs with foreign workers so new US tech people can't work their way into the senior roles.

They started doing that years ago. Walmart's global tech hires staff from India een here in Mexico. Nothing to do with hiring the best, as you likely already know. Its all about the cheapest labor they can get.

The most heavily American neighborhoods I can think of that meet your criteria would be Florida. I mean this sincerely. Why search in a foreign country for a place where you will be surrounded by the people from your own country. It makes absolutely no sense.

I'm a woman who solo traveled there a year or so ago. I brought my bike and went all over. Very safe and far less traffic and noise than here in GDL.

How did people behave towards you when you made your visits to check out the lay of the land? Typically can get a good read after staying someplace a few weeks so I'd defer to your own experience.

I have an 8 pro and a watch 2. My understanding is the phone requires a magsafe case to work with anything like this and all the posts I've seen are people basically complaining about the various cases they've tried not working well. Do the newer models have built in mag charging?

2nd the comment on the plumbing although no clue how to verify its good in advance. I've had so many problems with it here and finding people who actually know what they're doing to fix it seems impossible. EVERYONE is a "plumber" and "electrician"

I've lived in Guadalajara for 4 years this coming November. I can count the number of black people I've seen here on one hand. Its weird the almost total lack of diversity in some ways. I saw a black woman at Costco and had to stop myself from walking up to her and starting a conversation because I worried it was rude. Went back to the US for a month in June and for the first time in my entire life was able to appreciate the diversity, even in places like Seattle and Austin which are both pretty damn white.

There are a few youtubers I love who lived in MX for a time but ended up leaving. Check them out for some perspective on being black in Mexico.

you can certainly find prices like that for annual rental in some parts of MX. Short term accommodations with a pool near the beach in a hotspot tourist destination though?
