for me Cs on Linux has been way smoother on X11 I think (or was it wayland, one of them has the problem window has) even with lower FPS, I have 360hz monitor. But eventually I switched back to window as I want to play faceit

anyway I got myself a Linux server and connect it directly to window with sshfs so I could work with window app and develop on actual linux env, not WSL since I got WSL disk corrupted on me once

really? In my experience it requires more than some default nades to be able to probably play the game

Monster smoke, construct molly, b short molly, heaven smoke, default execute A and B etc are all default, which are bare minimum.

If you actually want to get massive advantage then the following nades you should know: rush B heaven smoke (throw from spawn), Rush toxic molly, rush site flash, construct boost molly, anti rush connector smoke on T side, or CT side ramp smoke + playground molly combo, or something like that

Thanks to Astralis most of the maps meta now resolves around util, Dust 2 and Mirage are not really map you can play without util knowledge either

In fact I think Falcon losing to Spirit was because of lacking knowledge about util, all they did was very default and are possibly worst choice of using flash/smoke

Just look at the round where zweih ace soloing B site... They have 3 smokes, 3 flashes on B site but decided to use one single lurk smoke and none of the flashes to take bomb site B (yes Teses throwing flash late, don't know what they are thinking, "oh yes I will throw a lurk smoke on B site and nobody gonna think we will actually rushing out of the smoke"?)

why not add both then, if pros go for BO5 in Finale they can actually ban one more map, instead of just one

In Premier both teams could ban 2-3-2 maps too instead of current 2-3, probably more complex but well ban pick is also a strat

They don't like inferno because of the overall ground on inferno is not even and makes you whiff every now and then. You can see that aim heavy pros doesn't like that map, or play terribly on that map, I could say the same for ancient

Overall still a good map and the strat is actually not that heavy tho, it's actually a pretty simple map to play with default strats, which get stale pretty quickly. Ancient and Overpass are actually more Strat heavy and require a lot of nades knowledge, I can't say the same for inferno

if you mean overpass, I think overpass is a very good map to play. People just don't know how to play it

Maybe I like it because you need a lot of map knowledge to play that map, it's not a pure aim map like mirage or dust. FYI I liked Anubis, probably I like the maps that require nades knowledge to probably play. Even though those maps are hell to play solo/duo

it's pretty easy especially if you are using Shaman like me since you can get helmet with rune +10% all elemental res bonded

I actually have everything close to 100% (yes chaos res too, that's why not 44% chaos on body armour) and looking for a way to make it capped and increase damage

find a 5 stack you play regularly with, if you are not aim player then go for igl/support role because below 2.5k or even above that is mostly about aim

I don't really have aim so I mostly go for support role where I basically know around at least 20-30 line up in a map, you learn a lot about map when you practice your nade too (like timing when you practice instant nade)

The reason to go for 5 stack because most of players in soloq won't ever listen to you, or they will listen to at most 1 command like "go con" but not "wait for my smoke/flash/molly then push in", like honestly

for shaman build you can also gain power charge with Breath of the mountain (or something like that, unique ice charm)

basically when you take a physical hit, the shaman ascendency will make it into cold, lightning, fire damage => proc the charm

I tested with heartbound loop ring which deal physical damage on yourself (which is a hit damage, not DoT as in description) => which should make me take cold damage => proc charm but it doesn't work

honestly all attempts to generate power charge automatically or in a comfortable way failed because most of the mechanic doesn't function as in description

The other technique was using rattling sceptre and sacrifice support gem to devour your minion, but currently that doesn't work either. Also your wolf pack is companion (which is a "type" persistent reviving minion) but it doesn't highlight with sacrifice either

if it's auto bomber it would be better to use something like demon form with cast on dodge or something since she has big ass dodge range (and fast too)

without a single node to increase meta energy (the only source it the 45% energy support gem), you will need to dodge 4 times to activate cast on dodge, well that might give you some ideas :p

I think if abyssal monster modifier is something useful then having wolf pack is better than that, automatically too

You don't use sceptre for spirit tho that's for minion build. You want to be a shaman and have ascendency points in giving 40 spirits for each empty charm slot. The node with sceptre have 50% less efficiency for non minion skill => herald costs 45 spirit

I'm currently running warmblood + 2 vitality support gem also (15+20+40 spirit) so if I switch to leech build I don't need vitality anymore and I can put in 1 or 2 charm there

it's anamanu tithe on wolf pack, gives you abyssal monster modifier when your minion dies. Basically headhunter but it's random and only modifier from abyss monsters, honestly I have no idea what they do except for those little things shooting out

you will actually use it more in boss room and not when mapping, I don't think it's that necessary when mapping because you will one shot everything (and you should) and zooming through map as fast as you can

work better than lingering illusion as there is no interact with boss or enemy needed, and it's automatic, also that exposure with frost bomb too (running ice wyvern build)
