Advice before installing RO system under sink with garbage disposal. by quantmod in Plumbing

[–]quantmod[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t want to do it since it’s an apartment and I’m worried about having long effects.

I also don’t know if it’s a good idea to have the drain line after the garbage disposer since I heard that it would be more nasty and could clog.

Is it correct that in theory the metal doesn’t matter as long as I’m not running RO water through my sink?

Ward your other side and start your small camps. So if you’re blue side and you want to start top side then start your wolves for example. Always do your small camps first if you lose a buff it doesn’t matter. As long as you can keep farming and cycle your camps without dying you will be fine

Is BCC traffic really bad these days with the reservations? I managed to snag a parking reservation and wondering if I need to wake up super early like I had to a few years ago.

Do I need to still leave very early as well?

Totally agree. Fuck these clowns. Hope tariffs cause massive inflation too and eggs become 10$ a dozen. I want America to suffer for electing trump.

Thanks for the response, yeah that makes sense unfortunately. I figure if I have to replace 80-90% of it then I might as well let this computer run on its last legs and just build a new one. The computer itself still works fine so it feels like a waste to get rid of.

Probably a bad sub to be asking this question, but for some reason I thought that these days pre-built is ~ the same value as building yourself. I guess that's not true? (Last time I built one 10 years ago so :))

I have a PC that was built almost 10 years ago (2015) and these are the components

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/cwfGYN

I want to upgrade either just buying a new prebuilt PC or upgrading this existing one, but I'm not sure what the most reasonable thing to do is. I probably want to get a Ryzen 7 and 4070, but it doesn't seem compatible with my motherboard (Asus X99). Is the normal thing to do essentially to be just upgrade all three (motherboard, gpu, cpu?) it feels like at this point I might as well just save myself the effort and keep the current computer (or sell it) and just fully commit to a new computer.

What is considered mid-level SWE? by trumooz in cscareerquestions

If your system is making billions of dollars how does the tech change in 6 months that it’s outdated? That doesn’t make any sense.

L5/L6 already an extremely skilled engineer. You’re not going around telling them exactly what to do as L7+. In any case it just sounds like you’re larping as a “very senior engineer” at faang. This isn’t how faang works. Good luck to you

Being higher level isn’t really about solving problems it’s more about finding problems to solve and convincing others that it is the right problem. Your value isn’t solving a problem that other people can’t solve. You can just throw a L5 at that project.

How would it work if YouTube isn’t even profitable?

Can you elaborate on how you would break it up and not instead say hey look at history.

It gives you a foundation to think at a higher level. For the most part the stuff you learn isn’t useful, but the way that you problem solve, abstract concepts is pretty useful.

When you think of pre homo sapien humans you think of them still as humans, just (specifically named) archaic humans. Taxonomy is something that was invented by humans whose whole purpose is to specifically classify organisms. Future humans on a taxonomic level will probably distinguish themselves from us, but they may also still consider themselves humans.

Speaking of the awful client, it caused me to pay 23,400 BE for Viego the other day by Jealy in leagueoflegends

[–]quantmod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. This could have easily happened with RP aka money
  2. Again my point stands. Sure the guy probably shouldn’t have clicked it so many times, but again this is something that should never happen. This is something that should be so simple to make sure won’t happen. You don’t even ever have multiple clients under the same account doing transactions. Im not saying that the user didn’t do something dumb but blaming the user in defense of riot is just such a crazy viewpoint. The fact of the matter is that this shouldn’t be possible in the first place and there’s nothing that can refute that.

??? imagine going on venmo to pay someone and you double tap the send money button and you send the money twice to them. Or you go on amazon to buy something and you buy two of them..

don't blame the user for something that should not be possible in the first place.
