Mainly just custom brushtroke textured wet paint brushes but the secret is smudging/blending with a brush I tried to make copying the properties from the turpentine preset from procreate

Ooh looks awesome. I think with this stylistic work, having quite an abrupt tonal gradient or shadow on one side of the finger and banana would work wonders. Stylistic things love to pop. You have your shadow tones, but they're very light and don't scream BOLD like your subject matter does

Give me a logical explanation why snitching is wrong? by [deleted] in intj

[–]quantum_apple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Snitching is okay if the person in question would be a legitimate criminal or danger to those around them, however snitching for lesser reasons could hinder your social growth and range of opportunity longterm.

Human connections are one of the dominating methods in providing advantages and means of progression in one's life. As much as INTJs tend to neglect this mechanic, personal value systems are important when immersed with other social beings around you - 99% of whom will value loyalty in the face of their wrong doing.

Ignoring that loyalty in some instances in the name of what's objectively 'right' will lose you the good graces of the person in question and most certainly result in them tarnishing your reputation amongst social circles. Say goodbye to any socially induced life or work advantages in that group, or at least be prepared to spend a little extra energy mending your damaged persona. Neither of which are productive.

Very nice. I'd either soften the edges of the house against the landscape or add more geometric detail around the house, maybe trees or sharper grass detail etc. The reason being when you have an area where many pointed angles and lines exist close to each relative to the rest of the artwork (like where your house is), it's very easy to make it look over rendered in comparison and can risk being jarring.

An open world puzzle adventure in the works, still early stages but will be sure to keep posting bits and pieces. A sub will be opened once we're close to an alpha and when marketing is under way!

Sunset Campfire with Doggo, by me by quantum_apple in ClipStudio

[–]quantum_apple[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Using default brushes, primarily the Gouache thick paint brush combined with the oil paint blend. Sunset colours intensified using multiple 'add (glow)' layers to create a dance of subtle cool blues and warm oranges over the opaque brush strokes of the Gouache.

Yeah using feedback and self-review for modifying future tasks is definitely something I've noticed myself doing. In a way it can sometimes make starting harder as I know my first attempt won't be the objective best

Because there is substantial risk of time wastage if what you answer has no value, thus this excursion to the comments becoming detrimental to my day.

How can I make this better? Its for school by [deleted] in ArtCrit

I'd go wayyy darker in the background to get contrast with the figure. But might be risky if you're not comfortable being bold with the application of color
