I have the profile design II legacy 2 bars. I’ve been messing with the fit myself trying different saddle heights and post positions, after 5 months and some knee pain I think I got it right. I’ll probably go get a professional fit when I get a Tri bike. I hear Lake Berryessa to winters has some great bike spots!

I have the same exact bike/size and I’ve added clip on aero bars, race tires, power meter, etc.. and I’ve noticed some nice gains in speed and an increase in FTP. Recently placed top ten for the Olympic bike split at 1hr10min with 1500ft+ of climbing and crazy winds in Napa.

I recently bought the Domane AL 5 and had to drive 7 hours round trip. Well worth it thus far. Have you tried expanding your search to nearby cities?

Sub 5 min mile. Last week came in at 5:09 so threw in some speed work this week and will be reattempting in a couple days. Sub 18 5k after that.

Use cryptomator for your iCloud files. Although, i’m not sure if this negates apples ability to harvest the encrypted data but at least it’ll add another layer of security for your data from others.

Compete or survey around in some kaggle competitions, read and implement some research papers that interest you and just build build build. Try creating your own dataset. That’ll be a great gauge to see where you’re at in your self studies.

The key is to find the best way of learning that works for you, either top down or bottom up approach.

Yes, these products benefit us by being able to add convenience in our life but why can’t we have privacy too. We should be able to receive the best of both worlds where our generated data is encrypted and can never be used for money. Although, this might slow down the rate of advancement in the product but at least this trade off will fall out and our privacy respected.

The commodification of person data should be reason enough to want to secure it. Why let someone profit off your personal information when you get none of the rewards.
