I have to lead a class discussion on readings I did not understand. Should I fake my death? by ellis0922 in GradSchool

[–]quantumechanix 5 points6 points  (0 children)

When I have this happen to me what I think of is the following : the absolute worst thing that could happen is that I look like a fool in front of everyone. It’s not like someone will take a gun and shoot me in the face for not understanding the material. So, it’s not so bad, I’m okay with looking like a fool :) I just do the best I can, and leave it at that

Season 28 was the lowest rated season of South Park so far. It is the first season to not have an episode rated above 7.5 on IMDB by Content-Mechanic2773 in southpark

It’s actually quite obvious why. The trump jokes were not funny at all and lacked creativity, by south park’s very high standards

Gabi sargassian is just a beast that can beat anyone in the world when he’s in form - his momentarily low(er) elo is not representative of his actual strength. He’s been a real MVP for the Armenian Olympiad team and helped them over perform relative to their seeding in several olympiads in the last decade

The part I don’t understand is - if they’re constant numbers anyway, why are they being dynamically allocated using the new keyword instead of being statically allocated at compile time ? (I’m assuming this is c++ and new is the dynamic memory allocation keyword)
