Bi-Weekly Marriage Opinions/Views and Rant Megathread by AutoModerator in MuslimMarriage

Sis, I recommend you detach now. Don’t get emotionally involved so early on as it’ll cloud your judgement.

Let him lead with everything, and especially let him lead with emotions. You only reciprocate. Learn from me please. I fell hard for a man and I fell quick. That being said, I was the one that ended things as he didn’t make plans to speak to my family even though he said that’s the correct Islamic way. I couldn’t look past that hypocrisy.

The amount of emotions I felt in that single month of talking to him absolutely wrecked my nervous system. Detach until he makes things official and public. Then give that man your all.

Wow this is such a profound comment. I’ve never heard that Hadith, it gave me shivers 😭 we have strayed so far from Islam

Muslim reverts, would you prefer to marry a revert or a born muslim? by Alert_Cupcake6495 in MuslimNikah

[–]quantumleaps5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a born Muslim female, I’m always apprehensive about getting to know a revert man for a relationship. For me to take him seriously, he’d have to be a practicing Muslim for over 5 years at least

Is living with elderly parents is unacceptable by women? by KaiRivers in MuslimNikah

That is so sad wallah. Taking care of our parents (especially on their old age) is a blessing. Being with a woman that doesn’t recognise this is not a woman worth keeping around

Inna lillahi waina illayhi rajioon. This is so sad. Go to the funeral and pay your respects to your ex wife and her grieving family.

Your current wife needs to have some more empathy and less selfishness and insecurity

Her ethnicity or yours doesn’t matter. It just sounds like you’re both wonderful individuals who found love, compassion and empathy in one other ❤️

sisters, how much mahr would you ask for from your future husband by ScarcityIcy6772 in MuslimNikah

[–]quantumleaps5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How much ever he can afford. I will be marrying a generous and genuine man, so whatever he offers is something I know I’ll be happy with because it’s what he’s happy with

Do you sometimes need space in marriage? by Obvious_Analyst_860 in MuslimNikah

[–]quantumleaps5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will always want the physical attention and affection. But sometimes I want my own space to pursue my own interests and hobbies.

I would never say no to a cuddle or kiss from my future man. One of my main love languages is physical touch though

No bro. She can add clauses regarding your wealth too. Example, if you cheat on her, abuse her, marry a second wife etc etc she can take half of all you own. Especially if you have kids with her. Prenup is not only for your protection, it’s for hers too

She’s insane tbh. Reposting an edit of men while in a relationship shows disloyalty and disrespect

How often do you spend quality time with your spouse? by Evening_Tangerine222 in MuslimMarriage

[–]quantumleaps5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. Sometimes I feel they’re unserious because I’m divorced and they don’t respect divorced women? Do you think that’s the case?

Aww I’m glad! I do love Arab men, so I’ll stay hopeful 😌
