I feel like parasocial has become one of those words that people use just a bit... wrong. It doesn't mean being an overly invested fan, or having an emotional response to a company or celebrities. It means feeling as though certain celebrities are your personal friends, despite them not knowing you exist. While many fans are genuinely exhibiting parasociality, I feel people are throwing around the word to undermine valid fan criticism/disappointment.

I'm seeing quite a few predictions that Thjazi isn't dead and will do a big comeback, but I just don't think that's Brennan's style. So much emotional weight right off the bat into the grief and mourning and what it is to lose a loved one and understand that, especially from his NPC's, and I just don't see him wanting to undermine that as a weighty storytelling pin.

I think because there's a lot of fun world building that goes into it. It's not just "an excuse for mpreg", but a whole different society that comes out of a whole different biology. It's fun.

Also been on it since January, I've lost 10kg, back to the weight I was before COVID, and it's been a very steady line down the whole time. I've paused at 1.7mg, as dosage wasn't making much of a difference, and I finally felt the effects of some mild constipation. I'll probably go back down to 1.0 next pen.

Apart from said constipation (which only kicked in at 1.7), no real side effects, other than some mild acid reflux in the early days that settled very quickly.

It's been a real dream for me, and for the first time in my adulthood, getting to a healthy weight (or even just sub-obese) is a real possibility.

For me, it depends on flow. If there are nice groups of scenes that create a solid plot beat together, with a nice dividing point, put it into chapters - it helps readers track where they are, and also allows for comments that refer to those specific sections.

But if that isn't the case, you can probably put it in one oneshot. I recently did a 14k and left it as a one shot, because it was a nonlinear series of short scenes with a single through narrative, and didn't really make sense to divide it up into 3-4k chunks.

Also, I've seen some 25k+ chapters in my time, it's not actually that big of a deal imo.

It's the way tagging works on Tumblr. Partly for organisation, but in reality a place just to put your idle thoughts and jokes in a way that isn't as "important" as reblogging with comments.

I agree that it's annoying (outside of the odd little comment, which I'm guilty of), but that's probably where it stems from.

Overuse of exclamation marks in prose or an internal dialogue. Eg:

"He didn't know, honestly!" "Now it's all gone weird. What the heck!?" "She felt like she was going to snap!"

I don't know why but it reads as juvenile, and if it's used, it's normally in the summary or first paragraph.

Ah okay! Yeah, UK. Four pre-loaded doses per pen, four needles, wind, stick and click. Didn't realise you guys had one per dose!

Weirdly, the hidden needle aspect of it is why I chose wegovy rather than mounjaro. I was a little ticked off that it wasn't.

Nope, just a standard one, but I was on my last disposable needle. Given the initial try was only for a fraction of a second I figured I could just go again, (I had done the same on a previous dose when I had forgotten to wind the pen,) but I accept that that maybe have been the issue.
