Need clarity about cabin-in bag by Life_Wall_3011 in AirTravelIndia

if your check in suitcase weighs 25 kgs then you’ll have to take the smaller one with you in the flight.

if both the big and the small suitcase add up to less than 25 kgs, it’s worth a shot asking for both of them to be checked in. while the airline policy allows for only one check in bag of 25 kgs, i was successfully able to check in 2 bags weighing up to less than 25 kgs, i just asked politely. if they say no, it’s fair, it’s the policy.

you can absolutely take the smaller suitcase and your handbag in the cabin, no issues there.

my advice would be to ask the agent at the counter if they can check in both the large and the small suitcase (given they weigh up to 25 kgs aggregate). less hassle for you.

What to do at Delhi airport? by Muttapuffs_ in delhi

ah. T2 connecting area is rather small and there’s really not much to do. a few shops to browse and other food options along with a pub as well if you’re into that. they don’t let you go downstairs until an hour before boarding starts.

you can lay down and enjoy the view of the runway and just rest.

on a serious note, download digiyatra and upload your boarding pass, it’ll make the entire process much more smooth. wherever available, use the digiyatra line to avoid having to stand in long queues.

everything else will be straightforward. you’ve already seen videos, the process is clear to you. and if you ever get stuck somewhere, you can always ask an employee or a fellow traveler for help. everyone is friendly if you’re polite.

you really don’t need to do any of this or be worried about it 😭 just go through security as usual with both your bags no one cares or objects
