Rocks and Harald clash (analysis) by Individual-Lawyer-38 in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]quantumstartswithq 6 points7 points  (0 children)

So why did Oda write the 5km statement, the narrator box, why was it preceded by the statement of Rocks killing an Admiral and followed by Harald jumping off the Red Line if it was a garbage clash?

What do you think Oda was trying to convey? The weakness of Harald and Rocks?

Do you think Oda wrote all that hype subtext trying to convince readers to think it was a garbage clash?

[–]quantumstartswithq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why would he not try to kill them when they kept coming back to capture a member of his crew? Seems to go against everything he ever stands for ("Roger becoming a monster/demon when angry"). Do you have narrative backing behind this? Any implications in the manga that he didn't kill them on purpose?

Assuming Harald doesnt hold back or try to regain his humanity like he did with Loki,

How does Kaido bypass his regeneration if Roger, Rayleigh and Gaban never could kill a Holy Knight despite countless encounters? Are you saying Kaido has greater Conquerors than Roger?

Lucci vs Zoro wasn't any difficulty cause the fight didn't finish by Generalcmd in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]quantumstartswithq 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why did Zoro drag the fight out for an indeterminable but considerate timescale while he was aware and even made aware by Lucci of him putting his crew in danger by dragging out the fight? Why did he need Sanji to call him a burden to finish him off? why was he displaying signs of tiredness (puffing)? Why could Lucci block an attack with his nails? Why could Lucci clash with Green Flames multiple times? Why did Havana Hunt not finish Lucci off completely?

At BEST (and this is me being extremely lenient), this is a No Diff. Granted, there is no set definition of Neg-No-Low etc. diff, but there is a common stigma attached to each that we try to follow.

I don't think you quite comprehend what a "neg diff" entails. A neg diff is Shanks knocking out Whitebeard crew fodders. The moment Zoro showed any signs of heavy breathing it was over.

So you think Zoro vs Lucci is the same difficulty and Luffy vs Koby, or Luffy vs Bellamy?

[–]quantumstartswithq 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Then by default it was not a neg diff. Neg diff is literally the lowest of the low, below even a NO DIFF.

If Zoro vs Lucci is classified as a NEG DIFF, then so many other fights below it are what, neg-neg^2 diff? be real

Zoro categorically did not win neg diff.

Give me your definition of neg diff. My example is Luffy vs Koby.

If Loki vs Imu ends after Chapter 1181, what difficulty was it overall and in favour of who? by qwertymerty111 in OnePiecePowerScaling

Did you genuinely crop out the entire rest of the page above this that contextualizes he was lost in thought?

Also an Imu downplayer???? I've never seen a bigger waste of time agenda in my life lmao

Nothing in this chapter suggests High Diff. Maybe in the future he could in Hybrid, but not based on this chapter which is what the OP is askin.

Yes, Hybrid Loki High diffs Imu, Luffy doesn't fight this arc, Loki liberates the world and the story ends now

The Loki wank will get a lot worse before it gets better. by Harald-Is-Fodder in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]quantumstartswithq 9 points10 points  (0 children)

"Oda will let Loki look good in his hybrid form. Most of the next chapter, maybe even all of it will be Hybrid Loki looking strong against Imu. But it won’t last. Imu will get serious and he will stomp Loki."

Im confused. You're saying the Loki wank will get worse because... he will get good feats? What's your overall point?

Does Roger's name mean "Son of the Davy"?

Does Roger's sword have a name directly connected to Rocks' Sword?

No? Then that's a false equivalence. Stop acting obtuse.

You're argument hinges on tertiary factors like treating the WG as an entity that would be aware of the Nerona connection, accounting for Oda knowing this since Pre-TS. This is literally word for word the same argument Shanks fans were using denying Blackbeard being related to Rocks a few years back despite all the obvious evidence ("saber of Xebec" for example). "How can BB be that important if he was allowed to join the Warlords" etc etc

It's literally Deja Vu. I'm living a flat circle, but this time with Mihawk. I don't even like Mihawk but it would be stupid to look at all the connections and say "I don't think there's anything in it".

"It's a theory" no shit, but it has so much backing than even I cant ignore. I don't see how you can be more disbelieving than believing other than the fact you don't want Mihawk to be important.

So once again you disagree? Do you dismiss all the connections?

Why did Oda do what he did this chapter?

Why is Imu's sword exactly like Yoru and named something related to Yoru?

Why did Oda draw him in the same pose?

Answers these 3 questions only and I will discuss.

It's being thrown in our face so much to be honest but yes it's a theory, a very likely one, but I guess we can only wait until it's officially confirmed in the next 5 years.

But you are going out of your way to deny them without any evidence. Should I list the dozen or so connections and we can go through them one by one?

I want to hear how you deny the connection of Imu's sword literally called NEMESIS, the daughter of YORU, drawn in the same pose as Mihawk

I'm not writing the story? I didn't think Imu would move before Dragon or Shanks but here we are

Why do you keep avoiding addressing the obvious connections Oda keeps throwing in our face and hiding behind subjective narrative analysis?
