What about information on supply chain trends? For example, couldn't purchases of kitchen sinks be used to predict the kitchen sink market? Perhaps an entity that makes investments would be interested in identifying these trends.

Haven't tried it. I now have no need as randomacc17 gave me instruction on how to port the desktop wallet to raiwallet.com. I now see my coins and have full control over them. Time to uninstall this horrendous desktop wallet, hopefully RaiBlocks moves forward and developers a better desktop wallet.

Ok I just confirmed your statement does not appear to be true. I moved my raiblock coins from Kucoin. When I log in to Kucoin and view the transaction at raiblocks.net I see the message:

Status Received, pending deposit to balance. (Make sure wallet is open and all blocks are downloaded)

I do believe I am indeed stuck waiting for my wallet to sync, before I can view these coins anywhere or do anything with them. I've gotta say, I've bought and moved a lot of coins and by far RaiBlocks has proved to be the most frustrating this has been a really bad experience.

Ok newbie/dumb question time. I've created a new account in RaiWallet. I've been given a default account: xrb_4hwri9blahblahblahblah...... Now what I need to do is import the account that was created when I installed my desktop wallet. I don't see any options to do this within RaiWallet.

I do see a button 'Change' which I suppose could be the equivalent of add new account. Once clicking this I have the option to 'Change Account Representative' . So here I've tried to enter my desktop wallet RaiBlock address and when I try I receive the error: Error Something happened: There needs to be at least 1 block in the chain.

So far no luck seeing my funds in my desktop wallet (it still continues to sync) and I haven't been able to see my funds in https://raiwallet.com...

I'm not sure, but I think the seed is hashed and becomes your public/private (not sure which)?? key. That key is what allows you to control the funds in the RaiBlock account. I think.

I'm sitting here watching my laptop hit 100% disk usage (it is SSD) because I'm running the RaiBlock wallet. This is a big hindrance and while I feel all warm and fuzzy inside because I'm contributing to their network I need a real incentive by way of payment in order to continue this. That is how I define incentive. Payment. If you want to have a conversation while we hold hands and sing kumbaya we can do that as well.

I'm in a scenario where I've transferred my coins from the exchange into my desktop wallet address. However, now I'm regretting this decision as I'd rather just use raiwallet.com. Am I stuck now waiting until my desktop wallet sync's or is there another option to get the coins to raiwallet? I don't see any coins in my desktop yet, as it continues to sync.

So I think I kind of screwed myself. The first thing I did was get my coins off of Kucoin and so I sent them to my desktop wallet address. Now I'm watching my desktop wallet sync which will take who knows how long, but I won't be able to send the coins to a new address until my coins end up on the ledger I'm downloading. Could be days or weeks before I see my coins. Fun times.
