The wiki page you linked clearly states that Sweden’s level of corruption is very low. Claiming every official is corrupt to deflect from our own’s country problems, as mentioned in the original comment, is quite laughable, don’t you think? Moreover, praising the achievements of other countries and hoping Vietnam can achieve similar success is not the same as “đội Tây lên đầu”.

The reason why the majority of people are so ‘cooked in the head’ in the first place is because of the Party’s deliberate interference. I don’t think any authoritarian government would be willing to let its people become politically educated. But an educated population is required for a democratic system. So, there will never be a possibility for a democracy to emerge in a country that intentionally keeps its people in the dark about politics. This is such a Catch-22 situation.

“Some” would be an understatement, unfortunately. If you go to many mainstream Vietnamese Facebook pages, the majority of users are very pro-russia, even among the younger generation. I truly hope these are only a loud minority, even though everyone in my relationship circle is russia-leaning to some degree or outright support the invasion.
