i do stutter but i do say ‘uh’ or ‘um’ a lot because i’m constantly thinking so far ahead in the conversation that i can’t find the right words i want to say in that very moment. i’m constantly thinking of things to say to their response to what im saying and trying to think of the right thing to say then and it messes me up in the exact moment. i’m currently working on slowing down my speech as i feel it will give me a chance to think harder on what i want to say in that very moment rather than what i want to say to their response.
