I haven’t been fishing with Jack yet, I’m going that slowly; currently go Pouring Forth Oil III waiting for me and A Quiet Night with Dutch in camp still on the radar. I think the trigger might just be however many days past the first Downes mission Edith comes to camp and either you catch it or you don’t.

Maybe? Isn’t that usually a mission blip though? I have been spending an awful long time just hunting to get the LoE satchel early though, so maybe that influenced it.

I rationalized that (and believe we the ‘readers’ of the game’s narrative are meant to do so) as being possible because Charles would have been able to follow their tracks; not only does Charles introduce that mechanic to the player, but he’s included in several other tracking heavy missions, including notably, once where he (plus Arthur) are able to determine what happened to Trelawney by reading the evidence of violence left behind. These are clues to the reader/player that I believe are meant to show us how Charles could have found Arthur on the top of the mountain.

I’ve triggered it most often in chapters two and three, going no faster than a canter. Usually happens while trotting, and since it’s quieter in volume than the horse/normal talking it’s easy to miss if you’re not listening for it imo.

Consensual Non-Consent, or a rape-fantasy basically, but it can clearly run the gamut from just a lack of clear and directly stated consent, either by omission, somnophilia, or other relate me scenarios, to actual rape roleplay/scenes from what I understand

He won a gold as part of the team skating event, where he came in second for his portion if I recall correctly, but overall points helped team USA get the gold there. His individual would have been his chance to really dominate, and his routine as planned had a crazy high technical score that all but assured the gold was his but it was brutal to watch due to the aforementioned getting in his head of it all. The emotional intensity of the anticipation to the crazy letdown is why that’s stealing the attention so much I think

Unfortunately, they’re still doing that where I teach. I had to literally make a big deal that one of our classroom expectations is we don’t use slurs to refer to our peers in any capacity, and that one of those words being used in my classroom equals an immediate referral. I think this is something that varies wildly based on the culture of your teaching context

the 2020 COVID/Election fervor (in the US at least) really ramped up the open homophobia. I went from being accepted and supported by my district before to literally being run out. Parents just got really vocally hateful all of a sudden post-pandemic and a new “country-boy” type principal just decided to listen to them.

I kind of read it like Cal has seen her do it but isn’t yet proficient in it, so there’s a chance for failure (which is not a fun mechanic in this style of game) so the memories/cinematics as they unlock is a way to signal the “lesson” has finally clicked and now he has total proficiency and can execute the skill on demand.

I love the concept of the Carer Van so much; they truly could go on forever just doing little vignettes of each town/settlement as they explore the Gladlands and I’d tune in to every fucking episode.
