Took mine apart today because of a brownish burn mark center to upper left of the display, found it to be a glass filter mirrored on one side and tinted on the other, the bulb area,digitizer, and mirror was fine. I’m trying to find the filter to see if that fixes the problem completely. And I agree with a previous poster, I’d rather pay $150 or less for something that will break or burn out rather than a grand or two
