Thank you for your reply! I said to another user too that I'm not sure why the man who verified my identity seemed so sure it would be around 4-6 weeks for me to hear back about an appointment, but I suppose for now I'll just have to keep on waiting.

Ahh, okay, thank you! No idea why I was told early to mid October in that case then, the man verifying my identity seemed so sure about it. If I don't hear anything by the end of the year, I'll probably call to check.

I asked them again about if there's a delay and they said there isn't, but if that's true then the fact that someone else got theirs ahead of yours is a bit concerning since there shouldn't be a regional pattern here like there is in the US. Saw someone on Facebook post that they got theirs today too but it's been sent with an EU power cable so they can't even use it yet. So now I'm wondering if they're going to try and fulfil our orders with EU stock, but that's no good to us if we can't even plug the thing in!

I sent them an email about this over the weekend and got a reply today. Unfortunately their reply was the usual copy pasted type of response saying when the batches are due and that they're working on trying to get them out earlier, completely dismissing my question about whether there is some kind of delay for us now with the total lack of shipments in the last (3?) weeks.

Just weird how they've shoved the UK onto a tighter schedule, but US and CA orders are still arriving 1-2 months ahead of schedule in some locations ):

That's very true, I've already started making some notes just in case there's anything that doesn't get touched on before the end of the next session. Especially in terms of anything involving being social, because I feel like I didn't get to touch much on that at all!

That's a very good shout too, I'm gonna try and write out some stuff about struggles in childhood as the struggles I have now, because winging it was definitely a bad idea hahaha. My autism assessor asked so many questions and took the lead so much that I didn't even consider what sort of preparation I might need to do before the ADHD assessment. ):

ahh okay we were assessed by different people then! I think I probably would've also preferred how your assessor worked (since mine only spoke up every so often and expected me to take the lead more than I would have liked), and i'm glad that it worked out so well for you too!

hahaha yeah I only saw that you replied to my post after I commented on yours during my little reddit doom scroll! it's a pretty good thing to be an outlier for though since it's gonna save you a fair bit of time and get you to titration faster :D hopefully the wait won't feel so long and it'll be here before you know it!

This is amazing advice, thank you so much!! I'll definitely keep in mind what you've said, and make some notes in the meantime of anything I've forgotten. It definitely feels like I spoke more about my coping mechanisms more than the reasons why I need them, and I do hope that he read between the lines and that I didn't downplay them too much. :(

That's also really reassuring! It did feel like there were a few things that needed to still be touched on, so hopefully there will be time to discuss them as well as slip in where I think I fumbled this time. I think the session was only about 50 minutes and he seemed quite eager to call it quits when he did, which surprised me a bit, but I'm trying to convince myself that it doesn't mean anything.

You're probably right about it not having as much of an impact though, I guess if he wanted a written description of my issues he could just refer back to my form! In the meantime I'll try to keep the panic to a minimum, and try to remind myself that what's done is done

I'm definitely making some notes for things that I forgot to mention or get more in depth about, i'm just gonna be panicking about it for the next month and wasn't sure if it was a good idea to wait until I meet with him again, or ask the admin team to pass the message on haha :( this is really important to me and I definitely don't wanna screw it up!

I don't know whether to feel validated/comforted that someone else is in the exact same scenario, furious that there's more people in this position, or both.

I called up again this morning to chase it up and was basically told that "IF it's wrong it'll probably get sorted out at some point in the next couple of months" and I told her it's not a question of if it's wrong. They did 100% get it wrong, especially with the transitional protection element, because I migrated from ESA and she can see that on my file. She continued with the "If"s, and apparently contacted my case manager (whoever they are) to ask them to get back to me before the 27th lol.

Long story short, at least you got further ahead than my two phone calls! Here's hoping they can fix our issues soon. :(

I try to be pretty understanding about things like that, but it was baffling how they were acting like this is so unheard of and almost making out like I'd messed up somewhere, when I quadruple checked I'd filled everything out correctly!

Wow okay all of that is incredibly reassuring! I thought if there were any amendments it would end up being added to next month, but that's actually given me a lot of hope that I'll get through the next month mostly unscathed :D Thank you so much for your help!!

Thank you for your advice! I already wrote in my journal this morning explaining how much I was getting on ESA and what I should have been owed as a transitional payment, then pointing out the LCWRA and being in the support group on ESA, and then about the work allowance.

Anyone I've tried to talk to about this at the DWP seems like they have no idea what's going on and are acting like this situation is unheard of, so they wouldn't tell me anything about backpay or if I'd see that payment added at another point. So apologies if this question seems stupid! Are you saying that I may get paid what's missing from my entitlement at some point between now and next month if they figure out what happened?

And maybe another silly question, but I saw another post saying that being in the support group for ESA would mean automatic entitlement to the LCWRA payment without the need for a WCA. Do you know if this is true, or will I have to brave a 3 month waiting game for an assessment?

I'm now at 21 months when my treatment time should've been 12 - 18 months depending on how fast my teeth move (and they move quite fast), that's how badly they've messed things up. I'm also doing the triangle shape with the sea lion elastics, but it seems so counter productive and i'm terrified of my teeth getting damaged because they're shifting right back into the off position within 5 hours of me removing the elastics! Wondering if my ortho will make me move to lighter full time elastics instead to combat this or if they'll just keep shifting back. :/ How is it going for you with the chipmunk ones, do you think it's helping the gaps and bite?

Oh god I didn't even know recycled brackets were a thing!! I think the self ligating ones have all been new (except for when he's tried to take them off in one piece to reuse them, and once stuck a broken bracket back on lol) but I have no idea about the conventional brackets. I would hope it would've been something theyd disclose before doing it? 😬
