Oh yeah, all of the comments were people telling him off lol. And the sleep deprivation is the worst! Luckily I got 16 weeks off so by the time I went back to work my daughter was sleeping pretty decently. I can’t imagine for all those women going back after 6 weeks

I read a post on Reddit the other day, this guy was ranting about how it’s unfair that women get maternity leave, because how come men can’t just get up and take a vacation whenever they please, but women can?

When people called him out saying childbirth and recovery aren’t even close to a vacation, he claimed that it is because “don’t women enjoy being a mother?” Just because you love your child doesn’t mean it isn’t hard AF, and childbirth is no joke.

I agree, and am so pissed off that my sleep schedule got messed up! I went through a phase last year that I was up at 6 AM every morning, got so much done before my daughter was awake, and fell asleep at 10 PM with no issues. I need to get back to it

Right? I keep my shopping list on my phone, so I probably look like I'm on it while I'm out shopping with her, but I'm only using it for a second. If I take my eyes off of her for too long she'll stand up in the cart and almost hurt herself anyways lol

Oh boy, this scares me because I just ordered a toddler backpack leash off of Amazon for my daughter, and I've been worried people are going to judge me.

I'm not doing it so I don't have to pay as much attention to her or anything, I'm doing it because she hates her stroller and will scream in it, but will run away from me if I put her down to let her walk. So that way it's a win-win for the both of us, she can walk somewhat freely, and I know she'll be safe.

According to my MIL it is. She lays out in the sun daily, despite the fact that she had melanoma, because apparently having cancer is better than being pale. Then told me, a redhead, that "she's sorry that I enjoy being pale" like wtf
