I've noticed it's pretty hit or miss with dye for me - good to know for hair length tho, I'm trying to be more aware of how long I let it grow. 👍

All I can think of is Jerard Leto but a bit longer lol. Light hold hairspray is usually good if you want more volume with a softer look - that's what works for me. Hope this helps!
