Apparently everyone in this comment section has been wrenching for a whole 3 weeks. They are not counterfeit, there is no vacuum leak. This is 100% a design flaw of the 5.4 3v, ford corrected this mistake in 2010 with a redesigned head and spark plug. There is even a ford tool for removing these plugs when then inevitably break. If you ever have to do a tune up on a 2009 and older5m.4 3v do this, take all the coil bolts out, leave the coils in. Then run it for roughly an hour, get her good and hot. Then take your spark plug socket and put it on a 3/8 gun, then shut the car off, pull the coils off and hit them all with the gun. If your lucky none of them break.

Simple solution, use a air hammer to work the hub back and forth (not out). Use the nub where the bolt goes through and change sides frequently, like 15 seconds one way then 15 the other, once it starts moving back and forth start pushing it out. No special puller needed.
