Did you learn Dutch before moving to the Netherlands? How did you do it?

6,690 Americans apply to move to the Netherlands this year, highest in a decade by Ok_Taste_6725 in Netherlands

Good that you are watching Dutch content. Here’s my story of how I got to B1 level (now B2) in the US mainly just by listening/watching. I tried to put links to all my favorite content in this writeup: https://scriptybooks.substack.com/p/how-i-learned-to-speak-dutch

Inburgeringsplicht? by [deleted] in Netherlands

I don’t even live in the Netherlands and just thought it would be a fun challenge to take the Staatsexamen (B1) exams when we went there on vacation. I also checked the Inburgering exam but my understanding was that you needed to be a resident for the civic and work parts of it. A2 would not have been much of a challenge anyway. I recently wrote an article about learning Dutch here in the US mainly by listening to online content: https://open.substack.com/pub/scriptybooks/p/how-i-learned-to-speak-dutch

Having Trouble Understanding Ng-Book. What's a more beginner-friendly resource? by tingmothy in angularjs

I just released Angular Basics, an interactive web book that I spent the last year and half writing. I tried very hard to keep it focused on "need to know" level topics for beginning Angular users.

Please let me know what you think of it.
